I hate looking for floorplans but I’m too impatient to create one all by myself. That’s where this website comes in. The Make Room allows you to create a room (even place furniture). You have two options upon entering: Make your own plan (by entering your own dimensions) or select a premade plan and edit it.

Mostly it helps me place furniture and then I can freely place walls where I want while in game. It saves me a lot of time editing and reediting rooms when furniture doesn’t fit properly.  Here’s an example of one of the premade plans:

You can click the walls and change them, add and delete furniture, etc. I can’t explain it all fully, so I suggest you try it out.

its like having all the money you wanted ,but you dont know what to buy. Making this to look at when I get stuck with lame ideas. These are all suggestions from my followers:

Taking a break:  No option for me but it surely can be good for other overworked peeps

Exploring new art forms: depending on your art style, surrealism would be something I’ve never tried before.

Shape game: Either sketching blindly and connecting the dots or sketching random shapes  and fill them with faces or whatever comes to your mind.

Draw something you never drew before:  …a good picture…

Draw a shark:  How to draw a shark by Will Terrell 

Read books:  Let your mind to the picture first and then your hand.

Poses:  Action poses - freestyle dancing - fight styles - (dancing people in general)- life drawing - online 3D model

Redoing Artwork: Either your old stuff or from your favorite artists, your way.

Reverse storyboarding: take your fav movie and sketch the the shots after every camera change.

Screencaps: study them, draw them, look at composition

Characters: Let your OC’s do extreme expressions, let them do things (driving,cleaning,running,etc)

How to Prepare for Your First Artist Alley

I did my very first artist alley at AOD2015! I did a lot of research beforehand to help prepare, but one thing that I thought was missing from all the articles and blog posts I read was a step-by-step guide from the perspective of a beginner. So, I decided to put one together myself! I’m not entirely sure if this is the right way of preparing, but this is what I did and it worked for me.

oh my god I can’t believe it!!!!!!! I actually got my wig basically back into the condition that it was in when it was brand new!!!!!! DAMN I did NOT expect a result like that holy shit I’m so happily surprised since it was SO tangled and greasy like omg so I’m gonna explain what I did so hopefully other people can fix their own wigs in the future!!!!!

and there you have it!!!! my wig is good as new!!!! i was so surprised because it is such a long and thick wig i didn’t think i would be able to make it look as good as it does!!! i hope this can help other people who have horribly tangled/frizzy wigs to recover as well!!

Because this didn’t come in my SAI and I bet it didn’t with other people’s, here’s a pack of more textures (including the lava one!!!). Go to your SAI folder and just dump the ones you’d like in the brushtex folder (or w/e you have it called)

Hmmm this doesn't seem to be working for me... I downloaded the textures in the brushtex folder as advised but no new textures appeared in my SAI. Update: I figured it out! It's cool!

This is great! Thanks for making this video because a lot of pre-T guys need help with this, come to me, and I don’t know exactly what to tell them. The tumblr video system is shit, so for people who can’t watch this, talk from your chest, not from your mouth or throat. Put your hand on your chest, and you will feel it vibrate when you talk. Record how you sound, practice, and perfect it. Like this guy, you may hear a dramatic change. I actually do this sometimes too, just for the fun of it. When I wake up my voice is lower anyway, but then I talk from my chest and it’s crazy low.

edit - someone just reblogged this off me and suggested drinking milk before you go to sleep because it will make your voice sound deeper in the morning.
