Introductory Post!

Hello! I'm bryn, I'm 21, and this account is (primarily) for Nancy/Ronance.

I am autistic, with OCD & ADHD. Stranger Things is my special interest, but I go through hyper-fixations, too.

Because of autism, talking & interacting with people is difficult for me when it isn't about special interest/hyperfixes. Therefore I'm fairly selective with following back and prefer interacting with people first, and honestly don't talk a whole lot in general, even to people I know.

I sort of became known as 'the guy who writes a lot of Nancy angst', but I also take writing prompt requests in my ask box! You can find these requests and other fics of mine here, in a masterlist of all my fics, and here is a masterlist of all my (favourite) edits :)

I'm working on a complete timeline of every event that's happened in the Stranger Things (extended) universe, which is requiring me to read every comic and book (that is more or less canon compliant). So it should take me until about March, I predict.

I'm currently reading Suspicious Minds, as you may know. Next is one of the free comics from Dark Horse, and then Darkness on the Edge of Town, which I have. But after that I have to wait till Christmas bc my aunt is getting me the next three of the graphic novels I need.

Anyways, it's gonna be fun! And if anyone wants the finished timeline and list of reading order in a google doc, I'll share it once I'm done.

LMAO Nancy can do the growls I think she'd get something out of that.

Also to answer 'I have no idea if Natalia can sing or not', she has applied she can't. But in a movie she was in (I've never seen it this info comes from a third party) she sung in it, but the character was nervous and shaky, so it was deliberately kind of meh. But apparently she did okay!

Natalia's abilities aside, I do like to think Nancy has an amazing singing voice that she will never in a million years show to anyone. She gets stage fright, I know it. I know she sobbed during her Kindergarten nativity play.

I know what people mean when they say they have 'things brewing' like yeah I'm brewing the flayed!Nancy au rn. I haven't written a single word down in relation to it but it's certainly brewing. in my mind. maybe one day it'll be on paper who knows! Things are cooking.

Nancy brings him with her to her crimes because she knows he's weak and will come with her no matter what.

nancy's adhd lesbianism vs robin's tendency to talk and talk and talk

Robin thinks Nancy forgets what she says because Robin is boring her but it's actually because Nancy's brain is too busy is replacing the words with gay thoughts and feelings to register what Robin is talking about.

I feel like half the time someone complains about TikTok "making up symptoms" for something like ADHD or Autism it's just a guy with adhd/autism sharing an experience they think others with adhd/autism would relate to and then it reaches the wrong audience.

Like, no, just 'forgetting things' doesn't mean you automatically have ADHD but believe it or not, no one here said that was true. It's true for that guy though. But not you. Stop thinking every experience should always apply to you, that's where you're going wrong here.

I feel physically horrendous and emotionally horrific

it must be so weird to have your entire adult life shaped around this one show, and this one character that at this point you probably know like the back of your hand, and to be acutely aware that in a few months it's just gonna. end. one day. and then that's gonna be it. and you're not gonna have this defining staple of your life that you spent years and years working on, that sort of became a routine in a way, and now your entire future career is just sort of in your hands now.
