Mando + Betrayal
i appreciate how mando and kuill’s entire relationship is basically mando being upset about his situation and kuill offering a solution and never taking no for an answer
Something I appreciate about The Mandalorian is how perfectly episodic it is. And maybe this is partly a result of the fact that it was released on a weekly basis rather than all at once like most streaming shows. But every episode feels standalone and individual, with its own arc and tone. Most shows these days are basically a 12 hour movie per season. You binge it all at once and each episode is nearly indistinguishable from the others and is in service of one overarching plot. Even more serialized shows tend to follow one basic formula per episode. But when I watch one episode of The Mandalorian, it's like I just get to live in the world of the episode for a while. And when I think about each episode, it's really easy for me to remember what happened in which episode and what the number and title were because it all feels so distinct. It's why when you talk about the show people can really easily bring up which episode was their favorite or least favorite. And idk it's just really nice
