There's a big, big factory fire where both the 118 and Tommy's team are dispatched. The 118 seperate in the building to be quick and one by one they get out except Buck is nowhere to be seen. They try to reach him but Buck's comms aren't working. The building is this close to collapsing and it would be a suicide mission to get inside. Tommy can't locate but even from above. He's desperately trying to get something, talking to his radio over and over and over again "Firefighter Buckley, respond. Firefighter Buckley. Evan." But there's no sound.
Until Tommy sees a figure, slowly limping out of the building, and he's never landed this fast in his entire life.
Buck takes a step, then another, and once he's in the clear, he almost collapses on the ground only for Hen and Eddie to catch him and drag him to the back of the ambulance, and the minutes passing from Tommy landing to running towards the ambulance to Evan feel like a lifetime to Tommy.
But once he makes it, once he sees Chim assessing Evan, placing an oxygen mask over his head, checking his vitals, once Tommy sees his boyfriend's sooty face, half lidded eyes, dirty curls and slouched, trembling figure, he feels like his limbs breaking loose, going all numb. And when Evan lifts his eyes to look at Tommy with that stupidly adorable but so fucking vulnerable expression, Tommy doesn't hold himself back from wrapping his arms around Evan, and Evan just sags against his chest, letting all go.
Maybe i'll write it in the future idk
