man y’all remember when the avengers movie came out and everyone headcanoned that all the avengers would live together in the tower and had all these cute posts about various fun ways they could interact and then the movies literally never had any of them even be friends

I want to state, for the record, that “all the avengers would live together in the tower” wasn’t collective headcanon, it was canon. The very last scene of Avengers (2012), the one they left us on, is Tony redesigning the tower, designing a living area for each Avenger. That was, canonically, what was supposed to happen, in canon, and they just changed their minds and decided to… not. For whatever goldarn reason.

This is why you need to watch the whole show before commenting on it and throwing around accusations. Because Buck very much did have flings and sleep around early on. This is not new for him. He literally stole a firetruck to hook up with a girl. His nickname was "firehose". He got women's numbers on calls. He hooked up with Taylor twice despite his resolution not to because at the end of the day, Buck enjoys sex. A lot. And that's fine. Like Tommy said, he was trying to keep up with him. Getting rid of this part of Buck's character just because he's bisexual would be the more biphobic move, I think.

Back in S1 and S2, however, that enjoyment didn't come out in a healthy way. What Oliver is saying is that he wants to see Buck enjoying his newly discovered sexual desires outside of a relationship, but in a healthier way this time. And I'm hoping that Eddie's new lease on life can inspire that in him. Buck derives far too much of his self-worth from his relationship status, that was pretty obvious with Tommy in that last scene.

So, long story short I’m a little short on money atm.

Short story long? My mom has been in the hospital for two weeks now (today being 07/05/2024) which means she’s currently only getting paid 70% of her usual paycheck (sick leave paid regulated by law). It normally would be fine since I have side hustles that usually help us to cover our expenses plus our paychecks but as some of you know my dog and I were attacked by a dog last Tuesday (07/02/2024) which has put my left hand out of commission for two weeks due to the puncture wounds and inflammation.

That also means I had to spend money on doctors appointments, an X ray, antibiotics, gauze, and possibly physical therapy in the future; which made me tap into my savings a little bit more than I’d like.

I feel awkward and slightly bad asking for money, but if anyone can help out I’d really appreciate it. I set the minimum tip to be 2 dollars and I’ll draw you something in exchange so I don’t feel like I’m taking advantage of your kindness!

well, this is not ideal but unfortunately i don't have any other options. my family and i are experiencing a bit of a financial crisis. we all work and are all employed, but business has slowed down considerably and won't resume until july 29th at the earliest. unfortunately, rent + bills are due before then. i'm out of medication, and there's no food to put on the table so i need at least $800 to help take care of things for my family.
