Hey everyone!!!

while chatting over at the @jumpingpuddlespodcast (with @sassycordy and @rodneymckays) we decided to throw a super spontaneous Stargate Universe celebration in honor of the show’s anniversary next month!

When? October 2nd - October 8

Where? Tumblr, Instagram, AO3, Twitter, or wherever else you like to celebrate online :)

What? All fanworks are welcome! Including but not limited to: fanfics, edits of any kind, fanart, gifs, analyses, incoherent rambling… all are welcome!

Why? To celebrate and appreciate SGU!

To get you started we came up with a prompt for each day:

October 2nd (aka SGU Day): Women of SGU

October 3rd: favorite character

October 4th: favorite friendship

October 5th: favorite ship

October 6th: wildcard

October 7th: favorite episode

October 8th: found family

Feel free to do as many prompts as you like, but if you want to create something else outside these prompts nobody can (and will) stop you ;)

If you post your works please make sure to have them tagged appropriately!

Also, please tag your contributions with “SGU Week” so others can find them :)

We know it’s extremely short notice but we’re really looking forward to this!

often fandom will take a repressed man and unrepress him a little bit for fanfiction to make him say the things you want him to say. But the stargate atlantis fandom is not scared to let those men remain repressed so nothing is truly said to each other in 20,000 words and yet they still manage to fuck and have a half functional relationship. I love it. I love it. these are the type of characters people invented the truth potion trope for. These guys under the threat of death could barelt utter a heartfelt and truthful sentence to one another the only thing that could make them talk is if you completely removed their inhibitions and bodily autonomy

Teylabeth Week 2023 Announcement

Howdy Teylabeth shippers and friends!

this year's Teylabeth Week will take place June 5th-11th, 2023. (June 8th was the day in 2007 that “Submersion” aired, which in my opinion can be seen as one of the most teylabeth episodes we got)

Just as last year all creations are welcome: fanfics, fanart, drabbles, analyses, video and photo edits, gifsets, haiku's, playlists, song recs, fic recs, screencaps, poems... whatever your heart desires!

There will be an ao3 collection again where you can add your works that you upload over there!

I'm so looking forward to the event, it was so much fun last year!

Should there be any questions/ideas don't hesitate to ask :)
