Shale: The sister has interesting footwear. Leliana: Oh? You… like shoes, do you? Shale: My mass is considerable. Some cushioning on my feet would be ideal, but I doubt such footwear could be made. Leliana: Hmm. I could see some nice, thick sandals being made. With very thick leather straps. Oh yes, that could be done! Perhaps we could find some cobbler who could give it a try! What color would you want? Shale: Surely the color is unimportant. Leliana: In fact, the color is very important. That, and picking a shape that makes your ankles look slender… and you could use some help there, I fear. Shale: I… have thick ankles? Leliana: It’s all right. I don’t like my thighs. What’s important is working with what you have. Shale: Hmm. Very well. I wish my shoes to be red. Leliana: Ooh! Bold choice! We’ll have to remember that! ________________________________________________ Leliana & Shale go shoe shopping! My brother suggested/requested this one, and I was happy to oblige as all of Shale’s in party conversations are pretty hilarious (she’s probably one of my favorite characters from DA:O). Also my only other idea for Shale was Shale looking innocent, surrounded by dead birds (Josh said that was too morbid). The Leliana/Shale shoe conversation is pretty great though (it’s up there with Zevran’s bizarre fixation on Wynne’s Bosom/attempt to set her up. Also Zevran/Shale conversations are also pretty great).  I’m going to keep up hope for at least a Shale cameo in DA:I (i can dream okay??) Purchase the prints!
