The microphone is shoved in his face and he braces himself. He knows what's coming, and he knows he'll have to work hard to keep a level head.
"Robb," the reporter says, as if they're friends somehow, "What do you say to the rumours that your fiancée is the reason you've decided to retire from racing?"
Robb grits his teeth, takes in a deep breath and tries to picture something calming. Margaery’s face is the first image that pops into his mind.
“I say that as I promised, I’m going to race one last time for my supporters. I’m going to win for my family,” Robb declares, “Then I’m going to retire from racing for me, so that I can live my life doing what makes me happy.”
“Which is?” the reporter presses him, by now having to shout over the commotion.
“Being with her,” Robb replies, giving a smile before he walks away.
