You crack your knuckles In front of them once and they look at you with the most horrified expression.
You don't react in immense pain so obviously you're fine but this poor soul thinks you actually just broke your bones out of nowhere 😭.
They can hear your heart beat and are absolutely fascinated with the way it speeds up and slows down.
They like how it speeds up when they get closer and talk lower so they do that pretty often. They like how it slows down when you go to sleep, they find the slow rhythmic thumps very soothing.
They'll constantly ask you questions about your species whenever a question pops into their head.
"What are these for?"
They gently brush your eyelashes with their finger as you lay on their chest one morning. You don't open your sleepy eyes when you respond.
"Keeps dust out of our eyes."
There's definitely a better answer you could've given but that's all you have the energy for right then and they seem to be satisfied with that.
Just imagine an alien partner who is so openly enthralled by you. They can't help but hold your cheeks and stare into your eyes, absolutely amazed.
"Do all human eyes look like yours?"
You manage to actually respond, voice soft to match theirs,
"They come in a few colours but everyone's eyes are different."

What's it about?
It's about Doctor Nina Ma'atanoa, a spunky native Hawaiian woman with a brilliant mind and an even brighter personality, becoming the first human female to set foot on Dreenai, a populated planet discovered when she was a child. Her visit is sponsored by one of the locals, the enormous, jacked and unnervingly SPOOKY Dreen scientist Doctor Ardus. At first, it seems that he doesn't want anything to do with her and he avoids her whenever he can. But after a lab incident forces him to confront his reservations to help Nina, Ardus realizes that his anxious feelings are actually a growing attraction to the tiny human woman! As for Nina, she's been swimming with sharks and whales, she's not afraid of an eight-foot-tall semi-aquatic alien with claws and teeth like a leopard seal. In fact, her opinion of the big, blue, buff Dreen biologist is less fear and more fascination. After all, how many humans have the opportunity to work with a bioluminescent giant whose eyes are the color of the sea and whose hands are strong and gentle in spite of their gigantic size and razor-sharp, inch-long black claws? And how many humans have voices so deep and warm it sounds like the tides that caress the semi-tropical shores of an alien world absolutely BURSTING with lush plants and exotic wildlife?

Hello!! As a fellow tokophobe I write sci-fi romance that doesn't include pregnancy, sexual assault, Fated Mates, Alphaholes, or butt stuff! I don't like those things in my personal life or in fiction so I don't write about them!
I DO, however, write size difference, fun species, unique *ahem* equipment, exciting anatomy and what I hope are really interesting cultures in plot-heavy sci-fi softcore porn! That's right, I like to tell compelling stories with lots of neat details about language, clothes, religion and food that bring my stories to life on the page as well as consensual sex between humans and non-human alien species, of which I have at least EIGHT, and there are currently TWO complete stories and one in the works you can read for FREE on Wattpad!
STARFISH is a novel-length book about buff eight-foot-tall semi-aquatic aliens that glow in the dark 🌟 They're huge and jacked and very intelligent, and their tongues are really quite amazing if you know what I mean 😏
PET is a short story for all the furries out there - especially if you're into pet play and older men who just want to pamper the hell out of you 💅 Also knotting and primal stuff!

STARFISH has been out longer so naturally it's had the time to gather more steam. But the cool thing to me is that there are people in INDIA reading my book! Not just India of course, but all over.
Back when I was in college (about a thousand years ago apparently), my university hired me as an English and Writing tutor. Before too long I became something of a specialist in working with students whose first language was not English - I guess I had a gift for helping them navigate the nuclear waste trash fire that is the English language (I can legally say this because I have a Bachelor's in it). During that 5-year stint I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting people from all over the world - Thailand, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Germany, India, Pakistan, South Korea, China, Portugal, Belgium, Kenya, Nigeria, Sweden, you name it - and it's still the best memory I have from my early twenties. Seeing this map now brings back so many good feelings, and seeing it in relation to my own work is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Even though I'm mainly using Wattpad to gauge interest in what I do, stuff like this tells me I must be doing something right.
I'm about 2/3 done with the story, maybe 3/4, which means I could finish by the end of the summer!

Not enough alien x human romances with bioluminescence imo. Alien trying SO casually to keep their lights to themselves, but every time you pass by they get so overwhelmed with the need to dazzle you. As enamored as you are with the pretty lightshow they are just as much obsessed with your reaction, trying to gauge your strange human expressions for reciprocation. Not that you don't compliment them outright, but all they can do when you try is glow a different color. PLEASE show them human fireworks, or decorate your room with fairy lights, even if you didn't mean it a declaration of romance they're flashing every color of every rainbow because omg you shared your light with them even though your body isn't capable of doing it in the same way! You have an alien partner now, I don't make the rules.
