VS Art Party November 2024 Top: EU Bottom: NA

Another fun art party! Really enjoyed the EU part though I was pretty out of steam for the NA portion. Managed to be there at least most of the party and grabbed screenshots to draw.

Commander Race Chart

I want to do a big project of having at least one of each race + gender combo as Commander. I don't really know how to make it look good, especially with 3 whole M model asura Commanders.. It really stretched it out..

The plan is to bring back Cassandra and make her one of the Commanders as well as make each of the missing combos as well. I do have F model asura and sylvari, but none are fit for the Commander role so I have to make new ones for them.

Decided to also pick up a second M model charr Commander, as Rodnur is already in LWS4 and I'd like to start from the Personal Story on these guys, so I'm planning to play Wren up to LWS4 and then switch to Rodnur to play the rest.

Big project for next year likely. I still need to wait for character slots to go on sale so I can get the slots for these guys. I've wanted to experience the story with all the different voice actors before too, but this time I am actually making it happen, and making all the characters canon Commanders while I'm at it!

VS Art Party October 2024 Part 2: Other Guys (Mostly Charr)

Still figuring out how to draw anything other than asura. Charr especially are hard and I tried some various angles. Kinda ran out of steam at the end. Had a plan for a part 3 but I think I'm all out now.

I decided to give my first ever character I made, Rodnur, a total makeover. I have played through the most story on him besides my two main Commanders so it's about time I finally make him an official alternate Commander.

Planning to at some point bring him from the point I left him in the story (LWS4) to the newest story. I found I kinda want a charr Commander I could ship with some characters in there..

All characters I've decided to keep in my homesteads on my two accounts:

The homestead giving me the opportunity to have Nany hang out with all her animals. She is the one most fitted to live in the homestead, basically already what her home was like.

Spent a full day unlocking the homestead on both my accounts and then putting my characters in them and taking photos with them.

The many new GW2 characters I've made recently and are now completed!

Van Sharpsteel - They/Them Nonbinary Norn Revenant

Actually supposed to wear a fox mask but close enough. Loves to fight but wears full-body covering armor all of the time because of body dysphoria.

Agent Duskwalker - Any Pronouns Genderfluid Charr Tempest

A powerful elementalist, who was produced as the result of an asura krewe who hired their parents who were desperate for money after leaving the legions to have a child, as they were gifted with magical abilities as well. Was kidnapped by the Inquest for a bit but escaped. Joined the Order of Whispers to live their own life for the first time.

Vloxx - He/Him Asura Harbinger

Middle-aged asuran scientist whose left ear is gone and half of his face is scarred from an accidental explosion in his lab.

Ramirus Stripestalk - He/Him Charr Berserker

Charr who left the legions to live his own life. Has sensory issues and dislikes the feeling of fabric on his fur, so he wears as little clothing as possible.

Morcant Foamburst - He/Him Sylvari Deadeye

A soundless sylvari bounty hunter who is very mysterious and intimidating. Always wears a mask.

Archimede Silvestri - He/Him Human(?) Reaper

A human necromancer who died but used his necromancy to bring himself back to life, but he ended up becoming a skeleton. Now wears full-body covering clothes to hide his body while pretending he is just a regular human.

Vrix "The Assistant" - He/Him Asura Mirage

A very strange asura who uses his illusions to change his identity while he goes to work for various people with dubious morals. He enjoys watching them commit terrible deeds as well as watching them get caught eventually. He keeps repeating this cycle of finding new horrible people to play assistant for.

Kiille - They/Them Asura ???

A mysterious asura who was found as a newborn at the site of Thaumanova after its explosion. No one knows if they were a normal newborn who managed to miraculously survive, or if they were somehow created by the explosion itself. They are constantly glowing very brightly.

Nicasia - Former Aetherblade Charr, now Canthan crimeboss - She/Her - Should be allowed to wear the f-model version of the elegant canthan outfit

I've been drawing headshots of my GW2 characters for a while now. Got a little burned out though so posting all the ones I've done so far and take a break. Don't worry about the inconsistent sizes..

Next up is Remus and Lunaris (do not separate them) AKA can an emo boy and a jock fall in love (the answer is yes) These two are part of the Drake warband, and only members existing in game.

Remus Drakeaxe 27 He/Him Firebrand

Remus is the muscle of the Drake warband. Remus was always the biggest cub of the warband, and continues to be the largest among them. To Remus the warband is the most important thing in his life, though lately he has been giving more and more attention to a certain member of the band specifically.

Lunaris Sorrowdrake 27 He/Him Harbinger

Lunaris is the brains of the Drake warband. He handles strategies and well timed support. Ever since the fahrar, he has had a crush on Remus, even before he realized he was trans. He acts gloomy most of the time, but when Remus is around, he lights up. Everyone except Remus can see the obvious feelings he has for him. Lunaris is worried his feelings are one-sided, unwilling to read into why Remus seems to also enjoy his company so much over the others.

Idk if I'll get around to finishing these sketches but I do like some of them quite a bit so I figured I'd do a sketch dump kind of thing. Here are all unposted GW2 related sketches I've done within the last 2 years in no particular order:

Pretty detailed sketches of Rhixak and Prim. I wanted to do fullbody drawings of these two but Idk if I'll get around to doing them. They look pretty nice on their own though.

A couple messy sketches of Mib & Vizzis, as well as a more detailed one of Nise. That boy sure loves violence.

Gwizz realizing how gay he is for Lucanus. Drawing charr is so hard... Having a hard time translating them to my artstyle..

Sketches of how Corrow's body would look like under his armor. Something along these lines.

Figuring out how Kos would look like. His magitech eye stuff mainly. Also how he was when he first re-entered society, wrapped in rags.

Also Rix's outfit design. Pretty mad scientist type stuff but with a sexy twist. The labcoat ends in a loincloth type thing and there are no pants in the outfit. I mean he does wear some kind of underwear under there but yeah. He has various other outfits as this is not at all lab safe in actuality, it's just his favourite to wear on free time.

A sketch to figure out Nukke's hair-growth. I did one before, probably never posted that one either but here's the updated version!

Secondly we got a very rough sketch of a new character, a mordremvari named Ru. Well, he can't really remember anything before waking up free of Mordremoth.

He thinks his name starts with Ru, but can't remember anything else, so he just goes by Ru now. Still figuring out his design but I wanted to sketch out the basic idea, though I kinda ran out of energy while drawing it.

I've gotten Ru up to level 80 but I need to work to get one more piece of armor skin unlocked for him before his ingame look is complete so until then!

Prepurchased the expansion on EU as well, so I could get the hat. Got inspired for another character to wear the hat. Aulus Relicseeker is a Durmand Priory novice who is training in magic. Most unlike most charr, he is clumsy and a crybaby.

But it turns out that's all actually a lie. He's actually an Ash Legion trained mesmer spy who is faking his identity and everything about himself to infiltrate the Durmand Priory and steal its secrets.

I have once again made more GW2 characters. Came up with 3 in a row once again.

Loddo, a mercenary, who gained revenant powers, but became partly possessed by his legend. His legend is an anonymous hero who refuses to talk about himself much, but stands for justice and righteousness.

Loddo, who was cruel and cold, killing anyone he pleased, disappointed the hero, who decided to take control. Now the two struggle for control over the body and their differing opinions.

Nizz is a child of a pair of evil Inquest scientists in love. Forced to join the Inquest because of them, but having morals, he disagrees with their projects. He decided to secretly sabotage and free test subjects.

He claims to having killed all the test subjects he freed, gaining a reputation as a cruel killer. This reputation has spread outside of the Inquest as well, which sometimes leads to outsiders judging him harshly, which greatly affects him, but he has decided to go through with hiding this from everyone.

Ranon Gravedigger is a charr who never wanted to become a soldier. He wished to do good and heal people, but he was not gifted in magic. He learned how to heal people without using magic instead. He wanders battlefields, healing wounded soldiers and laying fallen soldiers to rest. Due to the nature of battlefields, he became more known for laying graves for the fallen soldiers.
