Dude DO NOT reach out to her or try to get involved in Heather Morris’s personal and private efforts. I repeat, please, DO NOT add to this woman’s stress right now.

I just looked and she stated very clearly that her and small group of friends want to help search on foot together because they feel utterly powerless. She does not need to be worrying about fans of the show intercepting her or this devolving into a circus. She does not need fans in her periphery, it is our job to be respectful and give these people dignity and space. DO NOT fucking go to Lake Piru if you even remotely suspect Heather Morris might be there.

By all means, if you’re in the area and you want to volunteer please offer that service directly to the relevant authorities. DO NOT attempt to join Heather Morris’s personal search party or intercept her unless she specifically asks for strangers to volunteer. DO NOT.

The entire Glee family and I are deeply saddened by this tragedy. Cory was and always will be a part of my own family and a good friend. He was a special part of this world and will forever be missed. My heart goes out to Cory’s family and Lea and while we are grateful for everyone’s well wishes, privacy during this time of grief is greatly appreciated.
