Get to know my OCs: Sibling relationships: Sentry Ojeda:
As a Bhaalspawn, Sentry has many 'siblings' who are varying degrees of related to him. Here are their relationships:
When they were children and Sentry first returned to the Temple of Bhaal, he adored Orin. As an artist himself. He encouraged and collaborated with her on Murders and art pieces and he always protected and cared for her, his favorite precious baby sister...but Sarevok turned Orin against Sentry by insisting Sentry was her rival and not staying in his proper place, Sentry in turn became petty and critical towards his sister's work, assuming she was just jealous of him. This boiled over when Sentry began a relationship with Gortash.
Desdemona (my partner'sDurge) :
Sentry's older sister from Neverwinter. Born of a human mother. Des was sent to help Sentry lead the cult and make choices that favored their father, but she was enamored with Sentry's power and considered his beauty an equal to hers, the two began an affectionate (as much as a Bhaalspawn can be) sexual relationship and Des worked as Sentry's right hand. She facilitated many of his official meetings with Enver Gortash through her seduction of a high ranking Banite priest who served Enver. Des is also a brilliant doctor, creating wonderful horrors that rival even those of Myrkul's followers in her lab.
A diplomatic and subtle killer, born of a union between Bhaal and an evil feytouched druid. Tomi murdered her mother and seven sisters back in Kozakura before journeying to Baldur's Gate to be the head poisoner at the Temple of Bhaal. She is a consummate diplomat and a well liked noble who uses her charm, beauty, and knowledge of patriar decorum to kill high value targets in the upper city. She dotes on Sentry as a favored little brother and he trusts her the most out of all of his underlings.
A former Flaming Fist who once had a husband and daughter, but she killed them at the behest of her father Bhaal. She feels immense guilt and pain over this and is generally silent and imposing. She is Sentry's bodyguard and sees him as a surrogate son, her chance to make things right and have a family again. Sentry views her as a nagging parental figure who treats him like a fragile doll.
Cruel, irritable, crass, and chronically envious of Sentry, Jackal very quickly became defiant and argumentative towards Sentry, always arguing with him or second guessing him the minute Sentry was strong enough to take his place as Chosen. Before Sentry was strong enough to fight back, though, Jackal would force himself on him and abuse him as a show of power. As a result, Sentry is violent and unforgiving when Jackal requires discipline, often treating him as a punching bag.
Once considered the primary breeding partner for Sentry given the level of power he once rose to. Sentry didn't agree with this assessment, however, and he hates and fears Sarevok because of what the parents Bhaal saddled him with tried to force on him. Sarevok, in turn, sees Sentry as weak, flighty, and unworthy of his position as Chosen. He Dislikes how close Orin and Sentry were and drove a wedge between them.
