Just some quickie fan art for Dust: An Elysian Tail since I just replayed it for the first time in 8 years and it’s still just as good as I remember.
Things had not gone at all like Lloyd would have expected when he woke up that morning. What had started like any other day—grabbing some cereal, heading to class, fighting his father: the usual—had taken a bizarre turn some time after he stupidly accepted Chad's date proposal.

They say a single beat of a butterfly's wings is enough to cause a storm on the other side of the world. That even that tiny change in the movement of the air can summon winds strong enough to level an entire village.
I don't know if that's true—but if it is, I'd like to rip the wings off the butterfly that decided to land me in this mess right about now.
Guess who finally remembered to post their submission from the last round of WWT just in time for the current round to be almost over lol

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to share this here lol
Did some more work on Rowan’s design. I think I’ll still tweak the coloration a bit more, but I like the direction things are going. (Mostly I think I want to add more brown and incorporate the red in at least one other location)
Might work on his combat outfit and battle puppets next?

Happy Halloween!! I wasn’t expecting this redraw to wind up so intricate lol Got the Nexomon games for Switch so I could replay them on the TV and afterward decided to redo the Halloween drawing from last year. If you like my art, please reblog :)

My new son 💚
Still working on the rest of the design and some specifics
He’s Rowan, elemental master of wood
He was originally from the city, but moved out to a small village as a teen where he became a toy maker and also serves as a protector for the people there
The hand-carved wooden toys he makes are very popular with the village children
When the village is endangered, he protects it by fighting alongside wooden puppets he made
My new son 💚
