Dive to the future!!

In July of 2013 the curtain opened on tv series “Free!”. Nanase Haruka formed special feelings about water and swimming. Tachibana Makoto introduced him to the world of water. Matsuoka Rin invited him into the world of competitive swimming. Because of swimming they met new friends, and while at times they crossed each other and fought, they were able to join their hearts together in order to see “a sight they’ve never seen before.”

The next year, the continuation “Free! -Eternal Summer-” (July 2014) was shown. In his last year of high school, Haruka felt troubled about what his future would be, but he still formed irreplaceable precious bonds with his friend, and they each were able to set their sights on their “new start.”

After that came the prequel to “Free!,” “The movie: High Speed! -Free! Starting Days-” (December 2015) which depicted Haruka’s time in middle school. It’s the fleeting time where they transition from being children to teenagers. Haruka met new friends named Kirishima Ikuya and Shiina Asahi, and was able to once again learn the joy of swimming with the the best team.

In October of 2017 “Special edition: Free! -Take Your Marks-” opened, and Haruka and the rest spent relaxed days after graduation.

Finally, July of 2018. Just as summer is approaching the “Free!” series will receive a new chapter!

After graduation, Haruka and the rest will start walking towards each of their different futures, holding the bond that they formed through swimming deep in their hearts. In Tokyo, Haruka will be reunited with Asahi who he once swim a relay with. This will remind Haruka of his middle school days. This will resurrect his image of Ikuya from “back then” in his heart.

Makoto who is heading to Tokyo along side Haruka, is starting to head off towards his own dream, and Rin who has traveled to Sydney will run into someone unexpected in his new world.

In each of the new futures that they have taken on, will they face new battles? Or will they confront old pasts they left behind……?

Elementary school, Middle school, High school, ──and now on to college. The friendships that Haruka and the rest have formed in the water and the story of youth will become one in “Free!-Dive to the Future-”!

Okay, let’s cut it short, if you are in this tag it means you still enjoy our favorite swimmers and you probably also noticed that lately things have been … well, dry as the desert Haru is walking through in Splash Free! But Summer is almost here, and Free! is coming back so what do you guys think of bringing back the good ol’ Fluff Friday/Smut Saturday event?

And if you don’t remember what FF/SS is, or it is the first time you have heard about it, here’s a quick explanation:

Fluff Friday/Smut Saturday is basically an unofficial-no-strings-attached fan event, where we pick a weekend in which fans create art that is fluff and/or smut, to be posted on Friday and Saturday. There is no need for signing up, no official webpage, no FAQ required (but I guess if you have questions you can ask me?), the only thing you need to do is prepare your fanwork and post it on Friday for fluff, Saturday for smut or anytime on that weekend tbh. 

You can post it right on your tumblr, or on AO3 and then just link it on your tumblr here in a post that you tag with rinharu, harurin and/or sharkbait (just remember that only the first five tags end up tracked in the search system).

HaruRinHaru Gift Exchange

Christmas is coming, and with it, the time of the year for joyful celebration, giving and receiving… and the annual HaruRinHaru Christmas Gift Exchange! 

However, this year, we’ll be doing things a little bit differently! 

Due to very recent and sudden changes in the mod team (this year @aenya  and @hinalilly will be running it) we decided it would only be fair to give you all a little more time to get working on your gifts.
