When she flipped the mirror, Dean almost didn’t recognize his own reflection. Annie had indeed succeeded in making his skin look smoother, covering up the freckles so it appeared flawless and milky with a touch of blushing pink dusted across the cheekbones. As she’d said, his nose and chin looked smaller; more rounded and feminine. He was awestruck by what a little make-up could achieve. His eyes were accentuated with just the slightest hint of coppery-bronze eye shadow, narrowing to champagne at the inner corner, prompting his eyes to appear larger. When she insisted to use orange-toned eyeliner he’d called her a loon, but actually the colour made his irises sparkle. He had naturally long lashes, Annie told him, and she was quite happy about having to apply ‘only’ two layers of this new mascara to make them look ‘extreeeemely’ long. Dean just chuckled and let her do whatever she wanted.
But now, in the mirror…yeah, the illusion was perfect. The make-up, along with his shoulder-length, curly blond hair - yeah, he really looked like a girl. Though Annie had done something to his hair as well. There were more, softer curls framing his face, pulled into a wavy sideswept hairdo, and there was a bit of spray layered atop that glittered slightly in the light.
