Bonus:
11 eps of Queenmaker ™ are all it takes for me to spend days digging all the materials about Kim Hee ae all the way back to 1983-her debut year
Special mentions:
lee young ae (the resemblance!!)
cate blanchett (three sons vs two sons)
lee seung gi (got teased by hee ae not to worry about her driving skills because she got her driving license before he was born lol)
secret affair jtbc (best love story™, please watch)
Twenty five twenty one (TvN/ Netflix):
Another good kdrama with beautiful female relationship (search www writer never disappoint!!!!). Not les couple but great dynamic between the two arch-enemies who grow stronger together, while being super adorable even when bickering and fighting. They also have plotlines that makes u think the writer might be their biggest shipper afterall.
And behind the scene they have the famous "take a pic of your gf"™️ so.....
Yes the ship is still sailing strong.

Its amazing how Kim Tae ri🍐serves diff looks emitting diff vibes with every change of hairstyles and outfits.
And her filmography (!!!) that impressive list of works she's done so far. Not to mention her monstrous debut playing alongside a stellar cast in the handmaiden (2016)
Her latest work twenty five twenty one is a soothing drama esp in current chaotic world. Charming, captivating na hee do can just make you laugh and feel a lil bit more hopeful and motivated.
PARK EUN BIN 박은빈
Fall for her smile. Stay for her talent and hardwork.
the king's affection 연모 戀慕 (2021)
After being terrorized by king's affection ep19 and that freaking ep20 preview, lets get distracted by our amazing park eun bin who can be a cool king and at the same time the most adorable 30 year old kid🐰
How many netflix originals with dramatic plot and breathtaking cinematography do you wanna star in?
Bae doona: Yes

Past. Present. Future
there's this new JTBC/netflix kdrama Inspector Koo, starring the woman-who-look-the-same-since-20-years-ago Lee Young-ae and the queen-we-all-hate-in-kingdom Kim Hye-jun.
Described as the "asian killing eve", I just gotta say upfront killing eve s1 is incomparably great and this korean version is trying to do things differently. Same vibes, but quite different.
Ins Koo has more comedic-borderline-silliness elements. The lead (Eve) Inspector Koo Kyung-yi swings between sillly-gamer and brilliant-inspector quickly, who has this same face as myself after having a drink.
Another lead (villanelle) is named K: seen here seriously dont understand why her friend is so terrified to hear about her murder attempt (tbf that "victim" is a cat killer so sorry not sorry)
The first episode is quite fast-pace (some odd editing at times though). Investigation and crime thriller parts are not bad, side characters are interesting as well. It has set up an exciting start for the chase/ battle/ lovestory (maybe?) between inspector koo vs K. Hope for a fun ride with this one!
Tvn mine ep17 preview:
Suzy welcomed an emotional Seo-hyun at the airport. While people were shocked to see Seo-hee and Hye-jin showing up at Ha-joon's parents day meeting together............
Sigh of course its not real we're heading towards the first weekend without tvn mine!
Do you move on from a drama+ their characters or do you watch+read all interviews+ read all 30 fanfics in ao3 (yes including those in vietnamese-which are quite good dont miss out due to the language peeps!) and feel empty and wondering what all the characters are doing now?
Well I'm not sure if this is "going back to normal" (#suckit to a certain husband), but i'm pretty sure she reached where she belonged and owned what she deserved.
So cheers to Jung Seo-hyun, and cheers to all the glorious WOMEN.
Stilllllll cant believe I can love a character so much who has so little backstory (yes she's from some rich fam but would love more details about her fam or how she got into hyowon, what she's like before all this mess). And to ship couples so passionately when all they do is stare intensely, hold hands and say bogoshipo. So kudos to the actresses, but I really hope more from writer-nim.
But what a journey, and what a beautiful drama.
If god hates gay why we keep winning?
If you like watching beautiful female friendship (or shipping unexpected couples), this kdrama mine might be a good one to watch.
Some interesting elements include: enemy-turned-allies trope, unconventional motherhoods, gay-staring™, face-slapping, hand-holdings, and the skill owned by every woman- supporting other women.
While Jung Seo-hyun worked hard to manage the Hyowon group, the actress Kim Seo-hyung worked equally hard.
"I struggled, felt lost in my twenties. Even though I dont have much scenes, I see myself as the lead actress; even though I'm listed as the 9th or 10th actors on the credits, I performed like I'm the main character. I reach where I am, one step at a time." (Rough translation from an interview with Seo-hyung in SBS on Jan, 2020)
Debuted in 1994, countless small and big roles over the years, to this charismatic and confident actress we see today.
A post of appreciation for Kim Seo-hyung, a round of applause for your beautiful work.
