Personally, my favorite part of No Way Home was the end.
Peter enters his apartment that is reminiscent of Tobey!Peter’s apartment in Spiderman 2. I rewatched Spiderman 2 not too long ago and while it is not an exact replica of the apartment, I know those cracked, peeling walls.
Then, when he swings into action, he is wearing a new suit. One that seems to be stripped down from all that high-tech technology which further severs his ties with the Avengers.
To me, it was like he saw what his other counterparts could manage to do in a world where they didn’t work in a superhero team and Peter now wants to follow in their footsteps.
Also, with this plain suit and shitty local apartment, I feel like it’s implied that Peter is once again the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. And it excites me so much because it’s as if this character has been given not a total reboot, but a soft reboot, and I’m so excited to know where it takes him and his journey.
It’s also like they were aware of the criticisms of MCU Peter and straightened things out.

Since No Way Home is a multiverse movie and we assume all the live-action Spideys will meet, I thought it would be hilarious to throw in that other superhero Peter I love. Quicksilver!Peter would introduce himself and the others would mistake him for another Spidey.
The problem with getting this idea drawn was that I wanted it for a button, so it had to be very compressed. @hippano achieved that by employing the meme. I just love Peter M.'s face here. XD

An interview came out of Variety yesterday. Alfred Molina (Doc Ock from the Raimi Spider-Man movies) has confirmed he's playing a multiverse Doc Ock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Not just multiverse, but THE SAME VERSION that he played in Spider-Man 2. Multiverse confirmed. Ralph Bohner is totally Peter Maximoff
He better be Peter, because if they introduce multiverse in No Way Home and bring back fan favorite characters from previous Spidey movies, just a few months after they so cruelly tricked us with Peter/Ralph I will actually cry ngl
