i love the idea of chat noir being an avid reader just because this boy is always bouncing off the walls and i just think seeing him be. still. and quiet for a few hours. would be funny.
it would freak the fuck out of ladybug tho. i feel like chat noir being quiet would make the balance of their dynamic feel weird and so she would then be the one to let all her chaotic energy out
ladybug accidentally thirst qrts a tweet w pics of chat noir that she meant to PRIVATE quote retweet but she was sloppy and sleep deprived so she deletes it the second alya spam calls her about what the fuck she just did to the internet and then she goes on record to say that she was HACKED -> stay safe out there u guys!! remember ur 2 factor authentification!!! the next day the ladyblog releases a poll asking the people whether they think she was hacked or not. 99.9% no votes (the two yeses were ladybug herself and chat noir after she bullied him during patrol but he made like 20 spam accounts to vote no when he went home)
does anyone else form their headcanons of marinette and adrien largely on the basis of "they have to be opposite each other"? like, creation and destruction, yin and yang, etc. like Marinette being late all the time and sleeping through her alarms? so she's probably a deep sleeper? So that means, by the laws of my lovesquare headcanons according to my brain, Adrien has to be a light sleeper. Marinette is a chaotic creative person and I can imagine her just having so much STUFF all around and living in organized chaos. so therefore Adrien likes his spaces neat and clear. (also something something creation and clutter vs destruction and emptiness) you know??? ???? ? adrien and marinette headcanons just cant be independent of each other in my brain. they are always intrinsically linked
you know how cat owners will defend their scraggly little cats no matter what they do? post reveal marinette is like that with plagg. adrien catches her scratching his lil belly and finding extra cheese for him and he’s like “don’t let him manipulate you for snacks!” and mari is just like “but adrien he’s just a little guy. just a hungry little guy he needs cheese to live what else can i do he’s just a little baby” and plagg just smirks at adrien
I personally feel as though Adrien would have complicated feelings on inheriting his wealth upon the realization of who his dad was. However, Adrien himself has probably made a great sum of money due to his own labor as a model that would carry him a good part of the way into adulthood, depending on what he wanted to do.
Related, I feel like he would love to spend that money on securing a place for Marinette and him. maybe due to inflation or just how the market looks, they’d get a fixer-upper situation and he would be ecstatic about creaky stairs and plumbing issues, because nothing had ever been as warm as a home with Marinette
so like… adrien could believe a stork brought him to his parents and he wouldn’t really be that far off?

so i finally watched the ep and once i was done watching @emsylcatac said that physics is adrien's favorite subject and that works well with him potentially being an architect since physics is essential to that and that got me thinking...

my answer to the whole “félix walks around with international supermodel adrien’s face” is that there is no answer to it … stuff like this just happens and fans roll with it (for the most part)
hi I'm gonna talk about post-reveal pre-relationship (because I can) and in this totally disorganised essay I will list reasons why it is important that we get post-reveal pre-relationship in the show and why it makes sense (to me and my personal needs but consider this list has everyone's best interests at heart and not just my own)
1. post-reveal pre-relationship in Ephemeral was brilliant so imagine getting all of this but it lasts more than like 5minutes. like imagine we really take the time to see them reconciling the other's identity in more than one episode
2. once the reveal happen, we get to look forward to them getting together and imagine tons of different scenarios (we already do that but you get what I mean right): it's like once your birthday has passed there's still christmas to look forward to, you know?
3. we get to see them fall in love a second (or third 😏) time
4. it really is upping the clowning to the next level honestly and what is this show if not a clowns show
5. we saw pictures of Adrien as Chat Noir in ephemeral thanks to the Marinette Freak Out Vision, but now I also need to see pictures of Chat Noir as Adrien too so if the next Marinette Freak Out Vision could give us that it would be neat (ladyblog pictures of Chat Noir's acrobatics from Rocketear I'm counting on you)
6. In the same idea and logic, we never got to see the Adrien Simp Vision of switching pictures of Marinette and Ladybug and really I think we should see it too for our personal simp reasons
7. the shenanigans and doubts of "has he moved on? does he still love me even though I rejected him before? shit he's not flirting why did I tell him to stop, I take it baaack" and "who is buttercup I really really really need to know, yes you can practice your confession for him on me my lady doesn't hurt one bit haha ha"
8. if you think the pining pre-reveal is bad, imagine the pining in a prpr situation. it'd be a nightmare but a nightmare we're willing to have
9. the classmates obliviously discussing Ladybug & Chat Noir's romantic endeavours right in front of Adrien & Marinette who have to just stand here and listen knowing it's exactly themselves they're talking about
10. Even better, they ask Marinette her opinion on Ladybug and Chat Noir's romantic feelings when Adrien is right here

20. Ladybug making shameless heart eyes at Chat Noir. Yes she does already but she would up the number like crazy and we deserve to see it
21. Ladybug saving Adrien one day and of course they get cosy cause they know but then the media go on this huge crazy poll of "what's better? Ladybug + Chat Noir = ♥︎ or Ladybug + Adrien = ♥︎?" and they get twice the embarrassment because they know it's still them. And people keep on asking Adrien about it at school and he's all nervous because Marinette is right there and no matter what he answers and which ship he supports he's screwed.
22. Back to your number 17. but Tom telling Adrien all about that time they got Chat Noir over and how he's so glad Marinette moved on because while Chat Noir was great he was in love with Ladybug, which Marinette was sad about. And Adrien and Marinette have to stand like 🙂🙂🙂h ha ah crazy right
23. Marinette and Adrien sending a heart to each other over text and worrying for like 15minutes over whether it's a good idea or not, if it could be misinterpreted or not, and what if they found out I'm in love with them???? and damnit it's just a hearttt
24. the potential of Adrien literally finding out about anything Marinette has done for him in secret and blue-screening like "hdgjhhjdf ladybug marinette did that for me??? m - e ?!?!" cause yeah it's sweet pre-reveal but. post-reveal pre-relationship and suddenly it's both his amazing friend from school and his best friend - love of his life who did and he cannot deal

Given what a terrible father Gabriel is, I think it would be VERY funny if deep in his Hawkmoth hideout he has one of those "WHO IS CHAT NOIR?" corkboards with all the red string and pictures and information tied together.
And it's got like "best friend: Nino" and "close friends with Marinette?" and Adrien's homeroom teacher and Adrien's general practitioner and Adrien's dentist and Adrien's birthday and favorite foods and hobbies and interests
And all of this information points back to this image of Chat Noir in the center with "WHO?????????" written across him in red sharpie while Gabriel bangs his fists against the board screaming "Who could this boy possibly be?!??!"

So at this point I just have to assume that every interaction Marinette and Adrien have is Adrien thinking that Marinette is a god of weird, surreal humor.
Why did Marinette give me a pottery wheel and then immediately throw it in the garbage? Because she's hilarious. Marinette's turning my car down because she's taking coleslaw? lol bon appetit. Marinette calls me hot fifty times in weird stuttering sentences before ultimately answering my question with something normal like "yeah dogs are great"? She's so funny. These are the greatest jokes. I never have any idea where these conversations are going and I love it.
