Vader’s reaction to Obi-Wan arriving on the Death Star in ANH is just pure gold. Not only does he begin it all with stalking off in the middle of a conversation with nothing more than a “I feel something… something I haven’t felt since…”, he then goes to tell Tarkin that Obi-Wan is there with nothing but a “He is here” and Tarkin doesn’t wonder for even A SECOND who Vader means.
Vader is also almost insulted at Tarkin’s belief that Obi-Wan will try to sneak out without seeing him first (the audacity of the claim!!), because CLEARLY Obi-Wan is there to have an emotionally charged and epic confrontation with him! After which he dramatically sweeps out of the room to wander around alone so that the Force can guide him to their reunion.
And it’s made even better by how the scene JUST BEFORE THIS ONE is his two kids having their first moment of bonding over Ben Kenobi and how they should go meet him. Two scenes after each other with the Skywalkers being very excited to meet Obi-Wan Kenobi, THIS IS HOW WE’RE INTRODUCED TO THEM 😂
