when you think about it no wonder they called lucy the valiant, and i don't mean because she went to war. i mean because after the wars were over, she was the one on the battlefield, cordial in hand, tending to the dead and dying. she was the one with so many lives in her hands. she was the one having to make the call about who was gravely injured enough to be healed and who would keep suffering. lucy the valiant. lucy of the fire flowers. lucy of the healing hands. the queen who walked among the dying and tried to bring them back to life. how much must that wear on a person? on a little girl?
really, do you think peter's decree not to carry it into battle often was to spare the cordial, or to spare his sister?

Things I think about Megan Parry
- Did Howl tell her about Ingary? He must have. Sophie would have made him
- Tbh I can see why she’s so mad at him all the time. Bro gets a PhD and instead of getting a job he pops in and out in his rugby clothes, goes out drinking with his rugby buddies, and stores all his shit at her house.
- She probably thinks he steals all the gifts he brings his niece and nephew because… You know… PhD debt and no job.
- When she inevitably finds out about Ingary is she like “store your car in Ingary, then!”
- When she finds out he works for a king is she like “why can’t you help us out with all that king gold then?” And Sophie’s like “you don’t help your sister!?!?!?”
- Why doesn’t Megan get along with Sophie? Are they too similar?
- Is Gareth just like “Don’t be so hard on Howell, he’s alright.”
- Megan’s first visit to Ingary????? Surely she’d go there for the wedding because Sophie wouldn’t stand a wedding without all their family present. I’m sure there would be antics.
- Megan’s reaction when Sophie is pregnant.
- I’m sure she gets overbearing about needing to see proper Welsh doctors with proper sterilization and equipment. And vitamins and things.
There could be a whole book about Megan dealing with her layabout brother.

Unfortunately, a great number of Loki fans hate Sigyn (for the terrible crime of being Loki's devoted and loving wife ^^')
And there is hate/strong dislike for her even among Pagans
From what I heard, they blame her for not freeing Loki from the cave... As if she had the possibility to do that ^^' Also, they prefer Angrboda, for the same reason than Marvel fans prefer Sylvie & Amora ^^'
Imagine that: believing that the Victory Bringer, "Meinsvarra" herself is not Badass enough XDXD *circus sounds*
All of them seem to ignore/prefer to stay in denial over the fact that Sigyn is depicted with a warrior hairdo on the Gosforth cross, and they will pretend the "Sig" in her name is about "pourring the bowl" and not about Victory (It's about victory for EVERYONE, heroes and Valkyries, but for Sigyn... Yeah, she's SPECIAL like that *eyeroll*)
YES, Sigyn is sweet and lovely... but she's also a Victory deity. Do they think that someone weak and cowardly would have stood up to Odin and stayed by Loki's side during his punishment?
She's too complex for them to understand, I guess? ^^'
As for poor, unfortunate Comics!Sigyn: well, it's all @marvelentertainment 's fault, isn't it? They rebooted Jane, Frigga, LOKI themselves... But since Sigyn's name is like Voldemort's, never to be even whispered, and they refuse to bring her back, well, she's stuck in the past, forced to embody the "Abused wife" trope... forever??? (well, she still was in 2022... Thanks again, Alyssa Wong ^^')
What breaks my heart is that, since no one (except for us) cares about her, they don't care about her being abused either.... And so Marvel can go on, and continue their abuse of her - they'll take Loki's love from her, her tongue, one of her sons, her life, even the memory of her... and NO ONE CARES OR BAT AN EYE.
It's... so sad. The only one who cared for Loki in the Old Comics. The only one who supported Loki and gave him some relief during his punishment in the myths. The one standing by his side loyally since the early days of the Germanic pantheon.

Anyway.

At some point, I received a letter from a younger woman who said she related to Mai as a darker, depressed character, and she said that of so many things she’d watched, that dark character is made fun of or loses in the end.
She felt like Mai had a happy ending without having to change her identity. She could have that identity and still find happiness without changing who she was. Those experiences are amazing, when someone takes a minute to tell you that something affected them, you just feel lucky you were able to have a positive impact on someone.
Omg this was so beautiful. Mai is a true inspiration for me as well, I think she as a character is extremely real, and although I have a different personality of hers, I feel we’re very alike. I love my girl 💓

me trying to work out how crystal could be one of the agents in the quicksilver solo movie who is played by kiera knightly and is trying to track peter down and is partners with the mcu stryker and when the govt backstabs peter in the middle of him literally saving the world she's the only one to help him and there's a hint of love there but not too much Yet and peter adopts luna in the epilogue and crystal brings the adoption papers and it's very clear that her and peter have gotten closer between then and now and luna asks, since peter's gonna be her dad, will crystal be her mom. and then in the end credit scene we find out she's an inhuman royal and so we get an inhumans movie too-
i have this whole amnesia Peter fanfic, but where Crystal also has amnesia (because of some Inhuman plot) and they’re both under SWORD protection because of their powers and they bond over not knowing who they are and figuring it out together.
