It should go without saying that adults in the Percy Jackson fandom should not be picking on children for “not looking the part.” No one should be doing it, just to be clear, but there’s something extra awful about adults bullying kids.

Anyway, Annabeth’s defining characteristic isn’t being blonde. It’s her intelligence, wit, and resourcefulness. Similarly, Percy is defined by his humor, selflessness (or, you know, recklessness), and courage (and his tendency to be a little shit to immortal beings that could squash him like a bug), not by his hair and eyes.

In short, stop bullying children. It’s gross, it’s mean, and it’s utterly ridiculous.
