the funniest bit in any marvel content is still and forever will be six minutes into the pilot of agents of shield when agent coulson hides in a dark corner waiting for ward to say he knows he's dead because he's level six just to step out in the light with "welcome to level seven". king of dramatic entrances
Maybe Laura was the original Agent 19/Mockingbird and when she married and retired from SHIELD she passed on the torch to Bobbi
That is a possibility. I’ve only watched a few episodes of Agents of SHIELD so I don’t know all the details about this character
the fact that AoS said “Mack is a Christian” and then kinda tried to keep it lowkey but also let him say things like “I believe in God, so I must believe in the devil” (season 3), “I have a soul that will continue long after I’m gone” (s4), “Everyone dies, and on that day we have to answer up there for what we’ve done down here” in response to him possibly dying (s5), and even mention attending a Baptist church on Sundays (season 6) to stay grounded and things like showing Daisy unconditional forgiveness whether she “deserves” it or not (s3).
Like, no they don’t always write him in a way that lines up with a practicing Christian’s lifestyle. But they get closer than some media by simply allowing him to believe in the supernatural without being superstitious… Like when Elena gives him her cross necklace and says “It’s a symbol of faith, not a lucky rabbit’s foot” that alone is closer to Christian beliefs than some representations of religion in TV. The writers don’t always get it, but they at least try to allow him and Elena to treat their faith as a part of who they are, not some superstition (although the people around him don’t always get it). Although, it’s a bit of a writing faux pas to pair a Catholic and a Baptist… although it does happen, it’s not usually encouraged by anyone who is serious about doctrine.
Still I love that AoS actually tried to be fair which is more than I can say for most shows.
