LORNA WEARING MAGNETOS HELNAT IM SCREAMING ALFKFKAKFKG
listened to Bohemian Rhapsody today… i’m so very sorry
If this post gets 100 notes I’ll recreate the entire song through memes
OK so I’ll do my best to get this done soonish–it may be a week or two, but I’m doing it
My masterpiece… is complete.
op did not put in this much work for 160 notes
@hellsite-hall-of-fame got one for ya!
hello miss amiko may we have a sabine please 🥺
Sabine for you :D
As I grow older I feel my capacity to understand that Miss Piggy is not a real person reached a peak in my adolescence and is now on a steady decline. I watched a Wendy Williams interview and there's this part that's like "can we get a ring cam!" and Miss Piggy shows her bling and I'm just like fuck she's so iconic. Miss Piggy who are you wearing? Miss Piggy have you ever considered running for office??
Like literally every time I see Miss Piggy there's a period where I need to readjust to the fact that it's not a person, and I feel that period is getting longer and longer with every instance
now all my Youtube recommendations are filled with Miss Piggy interviews. I’m not complaining. Miss Piggy what’s your secret to ageing so graciously
It's not just the audience; professional journalists, hosts, and actors report it is legitimately difficult to not see the Muppet as a person, and it is, in fact, incredibly easy to interview or act with them once the performer gets properly set up.
Like that one time they couldn't figure out why Kermit's audio was so garbage... then realized they'd put the mic on him instead of the performer.
this has been a very longstanding issue - before the muppet show was even a thing some muppets appeared in commercials, such as rolf the dog they had a continual problem where when people directing/shooting the dogfood commercial would give dirrection to rolf that they would be speaking to the muppet, to which rolf REPEATEDLY had to tell them ‘i cant hear you, you have to talk to him’ and point at the performer underneath him rolf is one of the most embarrassing muppets to need this direction as the performer is this, damn, obvious when not on camera
‘sir, i am a bathroom mat, the man you need to talk to is back there’
Obsessed with Eartha Kitt’s absolute power move of risking her entire career to drag Lyndon B. Johnson’s bitch ass so hard that his wife started crying
it is AS ALWAYS loving tenel ka hours guys…

every person can feel freddie’s presence in their souls when they sing MAMAAAAAA UUHHHH, I DONT WANNA DIE, I SOMETIMES I WISH I’VE NEVER BEEN BORN AT ALL with all the air in their lungs i’m not joking
it’s fucking crazy to think about the amount of people who have sung bohemian rhapsody? like it’s such a unifying song, by nature of the fact that so many people know it. it holds so many good memories for me and other people. it’s a song you scream in the car with your friends while you drive around your boring hometown, it’s a song you drunkenly sing with your arm around your best friend, or a song you sing along to with strangers when it’s on in public. it’s bittersweet to think about freddie’s legacy carrying on like that through his masterpiece. freddie carries on because he’s a part of so many people’s good memories and bohemian rhapsody is a huge part of that.
Reblog if you have sung bohemian rhapsody with your friends
every time i see this post i’m reminded of the video of 65,000 people singing bohemian rhapsody in near-perfect harmony
like, what other song can make that claim?
Some of the highlights of that video include:
- The crowd cheering after the first stanza when they realize what they’re all doing
- So many people audibly ‘doing the guitar parts’… like ya do
- The sheer number of voices joining the rediculous falsetto (thanks, Roger)
- How they all start jumping at the ramp-up “so you think you can stomp me”
- Hands up, hundreds, thousands deep for the final “ooooo”s and the last line to close the song
Only days before my state went into lockdown, “Bohemian Rhapsody” came on in the restaurant kitchen I’d just been hired at and, no shit, every single worker in that little diner started singing along. Me (the only queer afaik), the manager, all the other kitchen workers, the dishwasher up front, the two people on the counter, all but two of the men over 30. Just belting out Freddie Mercury at the top of their lungs. And you can bet when “sometimes I wish I’d never been born at all” came around, we every single one of us ramped up the intensity and basically made sure Freddie could hear us in the afterlife.
I remember singing this with a friend and we both went batshit crazy with the guitar solo
Hi, #1 Queen lover here, and I decided to learn bohemian rhapsody on the piano and it’s probably been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only did it teach me a lot about piano because of how incredibly hard it is to play, but it unites you with so many people.
Me and my cousins all have insanely different music tastes, and when I showed them I knew how to play it they all got up from different corners of the room, joined by my 10 year old sister, and we all started belting our hearts out. My family ran downstairs to film and join in, and this Dominican family screaming bohemian rhapsody at the top of their lungs is good enough, but being able to play along to it? Them cheering when I managed to play the insanely fast guitar solos? Sweat running down my face as the song got faster and more emotional but I didn’t care, us laughing through the errors? Our family saving the video and watching it over and over, us watching the movie later, arguing over interpretations of the song…. one of many memories.
I also played it with my friends in my school on the first day back in school after the pandemic. Again, different music tastes and yet we all sang our hearts out and a teacher even joined in.
I’ll never forget when I first heard the song in middle school. I legit cried, I listened to it on loop the entire day and never got tired. It helped me bond with my step dad when we didn’t have much to talk about. I’ve sung it with so many people, friends, family, and strangers alike. When I became an actual obsessive Queen fan it had an entirely new feel to it.
Bohemian rhapsody is so special and if there’s every a part two of playlists sent out to space for aliens to hear it should 1000000% be on there. I’ll never shut up about this song, thank you
Marinette's a lil sus
(Another thing that happened IRL, yes I'm an idiot)

One thing I loved about Sharon Carter’s scene where she took down a bunch of people is how stressed and even afraid she looks. She’s doesn’t look stoic like Black Widow, or cool and calm and confident like she’s having a great time kicking ass like you see in other fight scenes. Just LOOK at her facial expressions. This is someone who is trained, but she knows she’s one shot away from not making it out there alive. She’s battling for her life and you can SEE that.
Yet the visible fear doesn’t take away from her badassery at all. It enhances it, even, I think. And raises the stakes.
