I made a uquiz assigning you kin with an epic Greek hero
Me: *talks about how nothing tragic has ever happened to me so i have nothing really to say in the response box at the end of the uquiz*
Also me: *gets Hektor, the most tragic of them all*
He died in the arms of the man he join-killed Dracula with, with all his friends around him, while watching the person he swore to save be released from the curse 🥲
Chat Noir immediately after cataclysming Hawkmoth's arm:
“I think I’ve just found out what they’re hiding down here. This place isn’t a fortress. It’s a tomb.“ “What are you doing to me!?“ “The same thing I do to anyone who doesn’t embrace the Empire.“ Obi-Wan is right, this is a tomb. A tomb for all the Jedi and the Force-sensitives that the Empire tortured to death, rather than being able to break them. Reva says it, this is what she does to anyone who doesn’t embrace the Empire, we see her being willing to do it to a child–and we hear that child’s screams just as we’re fully comprehending the horror of a Jedi youngling being entombed in the hallway. This is what these people are. The ones the Empire captured. The ones that didn’t become Inquisitors. We’ve known since the second episode that the Empire is taking Force-sensitives, including children, and no one knows what happens to them, only that they’re never seen again. Either you break or your corpse is entombed and displayed on the wall for every other Jedi and Force-sensitive to be dragged down that hallway and to see what happens when you resist. And, just in case you were thinking there might be a single shred of mercy, they put the youngling at the end. So you know there is no mercy or compassion here in Fortress Inquisitorius.
“definitely there’d been a girl named reyna”
jeyna breaks my heart because its the epitome of what could have been. what could have been if childhood best friends and partners who were slowly falling in love weren’t torn away from each other by divine intervention. what could have happened between the leaders of the roman side, the canon roman parallel of percabeth, if the gods hadnt erased jason’s memories.
his relationship with reyna was never the same, they barely spoke, and he was never shown to interact with any romans after, and it always felt incomplete and a little badly done to me.
banister
i saw a text post about adrien getting to go down the banister once his dad was defeated and my brain spat this out .. it is part of a larger fic that i will probably never post but whatever!
Well, x-men fans, its been a good run….but the MCU will now take over the x-men tags with that multiverse of madness hint of professor x in the trailer….
THIS IS A NATASHA NOSTALGIA POST FOR A NATASHA NOSTALGIA EPISODE
Also Yelena appreciation...
He’s looking for his Peter Parker I…
Oh God, this was well put together.
Peter wasn’t in Otto’s life for that long, but his relationship with him was very important for the latter. Peter was someone who admired and matched Otto in intellect. Peter was someone who finally reached out to Otto and helped save his soul (despite the hell Doc Ock put him and many others through) before he made a huge sacrifice. He was probably the only person who still saw the man behind Doctor Octopus at the very end.
Now he’s confronted with a Peter who is a complete stranger. Maybe the tentacles are influencing Otto into attacking Peter at first or maybe he’s angry that he was denied his final rest. But seeing that the boy under the mask isn’t the same Peter he knows clearly affected Otto enough to regain a bit of his humanity again.
And it would suck if Tobey’s Peter does appear in this film, but he loses the chance to reunite with Otto one last time.
This is so beautifully written! It captures everything I love about Peter and Otto’s relationship, and why Spider-Man 2 is among one of my all time favorite movies! If Tobey is in the movie & we don’t see him reunite with Otto I’m going to be so depressed.
Can we talk about how fckn scared Marinette looked when the guilt orbs started sticking to him?
This is the first time since Chat Blanc she's openly seen how much he is suffering, and it's the third explicit hint (after her wondering what his life must be like when he isn't Chat Noir and shaking him after he sacrificed himself in Lies) that she is going to see that there is more to him than what he shows her.
remember how sharon carter was supposed to be the shield agent steve woke up to at the end of tfa
also how the code when he escaped the building was “code 13″ on purpose to reference her
and how the blonde waitress steve met/saved in avengers at one point was reportedly also supposed to be sharon (w a different context ofc, more like her role as a “nurse” in tws)
and how natasha’s role in tws was actually written for sharon and originally emily cast as the lead
and how there was so many important scenes with her in civil war that were cut including her appearance in the airport battle
obi-wan and satine could have attended each other’s funerals, the only difference is that satine’s wouldn’t be a fake one
Yep. Now think about the fact that Satine probably didn’t have a funeral (much less one Obi-Wan could have attended) because Maul and Almec and the Death Watch would never have given her that much respect.
Thanks now I’m thinking about what happened to her body.
