i gotta remember this

If I recall correctly, Remus' voice is described as hoarse in the books–probably an effect of screaming and screeching so much during his transformations and all that. And I like to imagine him trying to speak in the gentlest, softest voice the rest of the month to make up for it.

In fact, when he is a teen lying in the Hospital Wing after the full moon, he never raises his voice above a whisper. Not because he can't – most months, it isn't that sore– but the whispering forces Sirius to lean that little bit closer. It makes him pause, and look at him, and really listen. Of course, were it any other time of the month, Remus would be terribly ashamed of himself but with the pain of transformation still so raw, he is simply too exhausted to deny himself this small pleasure.

I'm sorry for being a bit pedantic, but:

If I'm not mistaken there's nothing to suggest silver is poisonous to werewolves within the hp universe. For all we know, silver doesn't seem to be any more dangerous than any other metal. Remus touches silver (and is about to drink from it) in OotP with absolutely nothing happening:

Not meaning to ruin it for you OP or @remusawoooo or anything, and if you want silver to be dangerous, or like the poetry in the contrast, go for it, but the silver thing is widely treated as a fact when I don't think it is. Unless I'm missing something?
