Thank you <3 (even though I don't always think they are hahaha) And my advice would be be patient with yourself but proactive - find tutorials on youtube (that's how I learned) and here on tumblr. There are sooo many resources in here, especially from fandom people. Then practice, practice. As you get more comfortable with the process you'll start figuring new tricks, the light and coloring you like, etc. It's something I enjoy doing, a good distraction also (although I rarely have time to do it these days .-.) so I hope you enjoy it too!

Wtf, lol. Not at all. She works so hard, and I'm thankful for her work. I'm so confused about this conclusion. Also, the tweet wasn't about editing nor meant to be a riddle for the streets; it was just venting frustration.

But they are grainy, no? I am such a perfectionist that I'm always frustrated because I think they're too grainy. lol
It probably depends on how you make them - feel free to DM me if you'd like, it may be easier because the process is so automatic atp it's hard to remember step-by-step. But I import the video, adjust the sizes and speed as frame animations, then as smart object I add sharpening and coloring. I do try my best to lighten the scenes as much as possible, and that will make it grainy - gotta make some sacrifices sometimes, lol.
I usually make the gifs for Twitter (so larger sizes) and then share them here, too; if they're over Tumbrl's limit (10MB?), I try to reduce them to proper Tumblr dimensions (if I have time). In the past (and ideally), I used to just make different versions altogether for Tumblr, but I have not had much free time lately...
