“All religion is manmade. If one God made it up all by himself, then there would be no diversity in religion because all religious texts would have come from the same source.”
-- Reagan Y
Kinda obvious.

“Religion
The belief that an unseen, all-powerful entity made everything in the universe just for you and that your special, ancient, and often rewritten texts are the right ones and all those other religions are completely wrong.
Makes perfect sense.”
“Ancient religious texts are not sources of information, the concept is ridiculous.”

How do you feel abt the idea that religious texts are allegorical?
Works for me. We can ignore them and read Aesop's Fables, or watch Star Trek instead to learn lessons. Much better, much more relevant, much less slavery and rape.
The god of an allegorical text is, necessarily, allegorical. My favorite kind.
I’m way nicer about your shitty book than your shitty book is about me.
