Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah."

attention all, here's someone to add to the blocklist for being a hateful POS

thank you for your attention and I bid you a good day

That's hilarious. I post literally from the Islamic scripture, and signs that Muslims themselves hold up, and I'm the problem? What is even wrong with you?

If you're offended, the problem isn't we who criticize a belief, just as anyone is entitled to. The problem is Islam itself.

You're kind of making the point for us. All we have to do is post literally what Islam says, and you go bananas. The problem isn't with us, it's that you don't like hearing what Islam actually says. And that's a you problem, not an us problem.

“No idea is above scrutiny. No idea whatsoever. To criticize, to scrutinize and to satirize my own religion [Islam] is not Islamophobia.”
-- Maajid Nawaz

"Islamophobia" doesn't exist. You can be bigoted against Muslims - and patently, nobody here in this thread has been - but you can't be bigoted against a religion, which is just an idea.

“The word ‘Islamophobia’ exploits the pain of genuine victims of anti-Muslim bigotry, using them to stifle any and all criticism of Islam.”
-- Ali A. Rizvi

The only sense "Islamophobia" makes sense is in the sense of being alarmed and worried about what Islamic doctrine declares and mandates. But a reasonable fear is not a phobia.

Islam is poison. The people who suffer the most from it are Muslims, as we see from the Iranian regime murdering its citizens for defying religiously mandated Sharia.

When you protect Islam from criticism, you're throwing Muslims and ex-Muslims under the bus to proclaim how virtuous you are. Muslims suffer when you play pretend about a religion, doctrine and ideology you don't understand. The cost of you showing off your intersectional bona fides is paid for by humans whose suffering goes unheard while you protect a book and a false notion about the way the world works.

I don't suffer the same intellectual, moral and emotional deficiency you do. I won't be told by an intellectual terrorist who dishonestly holds people up as a human shield to hide and protect ideas, beliefs and ideology, that I'm the one who is "hateful." Nobody was targeting people. Except you. You are the one who went after people. Not I, and not anyone who reblogged me.

You. You are the one who made it a personal attack.

Therefore, the only "hateful" is you alone.

"Criticizing Islam just as you would Christianity, Mormonism, or Scientology- doesn't make you a bigot. Singling it out for protection does."
-- Ali A. Rizvi

Why are you such a proud, unrepentant bigot? How do you manage to create such an air of superiority when you're a rampant, hypocritical bigot?

So I will carry on criticizing and even mocking Islam as much as I please. And your stupid words, and vacuous virtue performances won't stop me. Especially when you are the only one guilty of your own empty accusations.

People have cotton on to this little shell game, this dishonest switcheroo that you do to puff yourself up and make yourself feel righteous. They've learned they have nothing to fear from smoothbrains who don't know the difference between people and ideas - yet somehow manage to prioritize the latter - and learned to pity them.

“It’s very important for everyone to make a distinction between criticizing an idea, any idea including my own religion Islam and picking on individual Muslim people. The former is called freedom of speech. The latter is called anti-Muslim bigotry.”
– Maajid Nawaz

Nobody - NOBODY - needs to feel guilty about criticizing Islam. NOBODY needs to feel bad about showing the world what the Islamic doctrine says; sunlight is the best disinfectant. NOBODY needs to feel shame about saying how violent, reprehensible, illiberal, anti-human and totalitarian the ideas within Islamic belief are.

"Islam is not a race…Islam is simply a set of beliefs, and it is not 'Islamophobic' to say Islam is incompatible with liberal democracy."
-- Ayaan Hirsi Ali

“Our ignorance is God; what we know is science.”
– Robert Ingersoll

You don’t “know” anything about your god, because faith isn’t knowledge.

Does that imply that you think what you know in science, is science? So many known things had to be changed later. Aren’t we all in a dream where we create our own reality…our so-called reality…and just because we declare it science, that it is science? The creator and the observer can’t be the same in an absolute system of truth. It’s an endless loop of creation and declaring truth.

That might be the stupidest, emptiest, most pseudo-profound nonsense I’ve read all week.

Especially when posted on a system powered by magic using a device powered by magic connected by magic to magic boxes in the heavens that were levitated up to heaven by magic and transmit ideas by magic to other people with devices of magic.

“[Science] works... bitches.” -- Richard Dawkins

You can just say “I don’t understand science, I don’t understand why we use it, I don’t understand why it works” and leave it at that.

If you believed a single word of what you wrote, you wouldn’t have bothered posting it in the first place, would you? You already know it’s nonsense because you posted it with the full trust and experience of it being nonsense. “’What if reality and science are lies?’ Now let me press Send so everyone can see.” 🤦

Here’s a tip: humans cannot live on word salad alone.

Some user with a blank, disposable blog sent me an Ask ranting about how I was “hateful” and telling me I should behave like some rando I’ve never heard of. I responded as follows:

LOL

==

Some time later, the following was spewed at my private messages, and I was then immediately blocked. So let’s take a look, shall we?

vivalacrista god is éternel he existed since time began and will always exist

The Invisible Pink Unicorn is eternal. She existed since time began and will always exist.

Casper the Friendly Ghost is eternal. He existed since time began and will always exist.

My fictional characters are equivalent to your fictional characters.

What’s interesting is that you could never harm or injure an eternal creature. You could never take away from it, and therefore it could never have cause to punish you, and you could never add to it, therefore it could never reward you.

What’s also interesting is that claiming to know that it’s eternal eliminates your ability to defer to its mystery.

Have you ever actually sat down and considered the qualities you ascribe to this creature? Cause it doesn’t seem like you have.

vivalacrista You can’t deny you are hatful

Actually, I can. I don’t own or wear any hats.

If you mean “hateful,” then I beg to differ. You don’t even know me.

I won’t deny that I hate bad ideas, false ideas. I feel no self-consciousness or discomfort about that. Pretty proud, actually.

vivalacrista Go look at nateislame to see how atheists should behave [URL deleted]

Ah, I should sit at the back of the bus and be silent for your convenience. I should moderate my behavior to suit your sensibilities and preferences. I should genuflect and defer to you and your paper-thin feelings.

I don’t give a shit about some atheist I’ve never heard of. I am me. I will atheist my way, and no other. And I will not be dictated to as to how I “should behave.”

I am not your house atheist. I will not be told how and when and on what I may speak, least of all someone as narcissistic and entitled as you.

vivalacrista You call yourself rational but are more bigoted then any chrstian witch is irrational and manipulating a 16 year old is wrong

It’s really hard to take seriously someone who is either borderline illiterate or still struggling through their Eighth Grade remedial English class.

It’s further hard to take seriously criticism of my rationality by someone who seems to be determined to demonstrate that they are not. If you had a rational argument to make, you could and should have made it. Instead, you did all... this.

I have no damn clue who you are or why you’re even in my private messages. The “bigotry” you speak of is merely your personal discomfort with the fact that I am not afraid to say what’s on my mind.

If me posting on my page is “manipulating” people, then you’re really going to have a hard time with the rest of Tumblr, not to mention the entire outside world beyond your bedroom.

There are many, many people out there who are going to say things you don’t like, and many of those things will be true. And none of them are obliged to lie for your comfort or convenience.

Your problem dealing with this is your problem, and yours alone.

vivalacrista What's rhe
What’s The matter did I take the wind out of your sail, you also Uniroicly belive gender is not a real thing and just stereotypes so who’s the idiot nowand no i’m not still scared of you But I a, willing to die to stop you from hurting other people of faith, you are no different from people like kenneth copleland

No, I have a life and you’re some random nobody in my private messages. You are not the center of my world. I don’t even know who you are.

Also, no, you’ve clearly not been paying the slightest attention to anything I’ve said. So, I don’t feel particularly invested in defending myself to someone who don’t bother to read what I have to say.

Since I’m not harming anyone, merely criticizing ideas, such as your superstitions about a magical spaceman living in the clouds granting you wishes, I wish you all the luck in the world. Being “willing to die to stop” me from doing something I’m not even doing is kind of like taking a bullet for Bigfoot, or risking your life to cut up the Loch Ness Monster-capturing nets. That don’t exist.

Go nuts. Or more so.

vivalacrista Most atheists are very kind people who are accepting but you are certainly a acception, i’m not asking you to be chrstian but only to tolerate other people

I am a very kind person. Which is why I give believers the dignity and respect to challenge their primitive, juvenile beliefs. One of the most loving things you can ever do for someone is to tell someone what they need to hear, rather than what they want to hear. Unfortunately, your personal fragility appears to make this untenable, as your babbling seems to be a demand to support your comforting lies, so you can avoid painful truths.

If that’s what you wish, then you can construct your confirmation bubble around yourself by yourself. Block me or something. It’s not that hard.

vivalacrista And if you don’t belive in the bible why do you use it for arguments

Seriously? This... this confuses you? Are you really this foolish?

How about because you do. If you get to quote the bible to justify your beliefs, then I get to quote the bible to show that you’re wrong. It’s your book. If you didn’t keep shoving it in our faces, insisting it’s the only moral guide for humanity, or justifying your imaginary blood-god with it, we wouldn’t have to keep pointing out the bits that are gross and immoral.

And it’s false. We actually already know this. We know when it was written. We know how it was written. We know it wasn’t written by anyone who was (supposedly) there. We know that it says things that are known to have never happened. We know how it was edited. We know pieces were cherry picked for inclusion, selected for exclusion, embellished, elaborated, and stories were crafted wholecloth.

It’s a book of public concern. I can say what I want.

And I’m willing to bet I know it better than you.

If I don’t get to use the bible, you don’t get to use a science book. Any of them.

Considering what a controlling, arrogant, toxic person you come across as, it makes me wonder whether this is the poison of your religion - providing more reason to decline and avoid it - or it’s a pre-existing personality disorder - in which case, I’m not inclined to put much stock in your personal judgement.

Maybe next time have an actual, logical argument to be made, rather than just behaving like a whining child.

Neuroscientist V.S. Ramachandran explored this idea in his book “A Brief Tour of Human Consciousness.” He proposes that laughter first appeared in human history as a way to indicate to those around us that whatever was making us laugh wasn’t a threat or worth worrying about.
So we’re essentially reassuring ourselves that whatever’s making us uncomfortable isn’t that big a deal when we laugh at an uncomfortable situation.

I’ve been following the Nuseiba Hassan case that happened in Ontario. Her male family members likely murdered her for refusing to wear a hijab and being independent. They didn’t even report her missing for over 8 years. It’s heartbreaking.

Holy shit I hate moids so fucking much

Kill them.

let me tell you, i hate men of all races, religions and cultures

they’re all the fucking same, it doesn’t matter where they are from

women get killed all around the world for what they are and what they want: freedom

i wish ALL women would go a little (!!) bit insane, just to the point where they are not afraid to hurt or kill their abuser

make men fucking afraid of you, let them know that you’re loco LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU CAN DO THE SAME SHIT AS THEM

Oh, it’s the men, is it? It’s the men.

I see…

He picks up his favourite orange plastic stick. It replaced the wood ones that kept breaking. At first I was glad, as this wouldn’t give me splinters, but I didn’t realize it would hurt so much more. For the rest of my life, I will hate the colour orange. He whips the soles of my feet. The soles of the feet are a preferred spot, as the scars will remain hidden from teachers. I am six years old, and this is my punishment for not correctly memorizing surahs (chapters) from the Quran.
“So, you think you’ll memorize properly next time?”
“Yes!”
I plead to my mother with my eyes. Why aren’t you raising your voice or your hand to protect me? Why are you just standing there next to him?
What could possibly be holding her back? Was she afraid of him? She had asked him to come over. Was she partly to blame? In the moment, I cannot accept that the only parent I know would willingly give me up to be bound and beaten. He is the evil one, not my mother. That had to be the truth. So why, then, had she phoned him and asked him to come over? Why?
[..]
As I hung in the garage, I was aware that I was upside down. I knew I was being whipped, but I felt nothing anymore. I pass out at some point, and the next thing I know my mother is screaming.
“What are we going to do?”
She was scared that he had killed me. She wasn’t upset that I might be dead. She was only scared of what will become of them because they had killed me. As I came to, hearing her panicked screams, I wished I could just die. I didn’t want to wake up. Why would I want to wake up?
I was so sad, so heartbroken, but I was still so desperate for her to love me. I was trapped in a dichotomy of yearning to be loved and accepted and appreciated by my mom, and equally desperate to get as far away as possible from her.
But I was unable to go anywhere; I had no choice but to play the part of the dutiful daughter. I knew my mother hated me. I knew she didn’t care if I lived or died, and that was the most difficult part to deal with. I surmised that I was the reason she hated me. It was my own fault, because the devil, Shaytan, was so strong in me. I tried so hard to do everything she wanted.
What she wanted, it was clear, was to break me. She wanted me to stop fighting back and to just let the cement entomb me forever. Every single time I struggled I caused more cracks in the cement. Her goal was to make me stop struggling and just submit.
[..]
Finally, he unties the rope, throws it on the floor, and walks out. I lie there waiting for my mother to come and console me. She doesn’t come. I wait after every beating, but she never comes. She always follows him out the door, and I listen to their voices and laughter as they tell stories.”
[..]
“Yes, in the eyes of Allah she [Aisha] was grown up. You become a woman when you get your period, and all your sins start to get counted. Before that, you are a child, and nothing you do is recorded.”
“So how old was she?”
“She was nine.”
“Nine? That’s not a woman!” By now I was shouting.
My mother answered my persistent questions with a slap on the face, with nasty, hate-filled words and reminders that my questioning was the devil getting in my brain, whispering these thoughts to me. Shaytan, the devil, was too strong for me to fight. I tried to swallow my questions, but sometimes I couldn’t help myself.

Who do you think puts them in the hijab in the first place?

At the age of nine, I was fitted with my first hijab, which I was now required to wear. I hated it instantly. I hated it when my mom started wearing it, and I especially hated it now that I was expected to wear it. I begged for alternatives.
“Can I please just shave my head instead? What if I wear a wig?”
“Like the Jews! You want to be like the yahood?”
I tried to negotiate my way out.
“How come you didn’t have to wear it when you were my age?”
“Because my parents didn’t know better. They should have made me wear it.”
I wished she didn’t know better. I wished she would allow me the reprieve that she had been offered. I tried every tactic my nine-year-old brain could muster, but nothing worked. Gone were all my clothes; pants were no longer allowed. Now, I was to cover every inch of my body but my face and hands. This was the moment that the final nail was hammered into the coffin of my childhood.
I felt so awkward, so uncomfortable, so hot, in those stupid oversized clothes. My whole body was suffocating. My head throbbed, and my skin oozed sweat from every pore. And every day, they told me that dressing like the kuffar was evil and that I would go to hell if I dressed that way. Besides, when the Caliphate rises, if you’re not wearing hijab, how will you be distinguished from the nonbelievers? If you look like them, you’ll be killed like them.
– “Unveiled: How Western Liberals Empower Radical Islam,” Yasmine Mohammed

This is intellectual cowardice and astonishingly narcissistic. You’re so wrapped up in your own desire to paint yourself as some kind of eternal victim that you pretend the problem is men. You’re surrounded by men too, so you’re in the same boat, you share the same fate.

No.

I’m so sick of this bullshit where western feminists pretend that they’re hurt by the mere existence of 49% of the population, like my brothers, my father and others who enrich my life. And we’re all just supposed to nod along and pretend that it makes sense. Feminist privilege is being able to call for the death of every man on the planet and get cheers from other sociopaths instead the consequences a man would get if the tables were reversed. (Everyone knows you couldn’t function without everything men do for you, so you’re all bullshit talk anyway.) When you can express your bigotry consequence-free, while destroying the lives of those who do to you what you do to them… that makes you the oppressor class, sweetie.

Have the fucking guts to name the problem.

Go on.

Name it.

Say the word.

Say it.

Islam.

You know who helped Yasmine?

She had assumed that I would be a recluse, I suppose. She figured that the students would want nothing to do with the weird kid with the thing on her head. She thought she was safe sending me to a school full of kuffar because they would ostracize me anyway. Then I would be cured. They would hate me and reject me, and then I would have no other choice but to hate and reject them in return.
My mom’s initial reaction was to try and take me out of school immediately. She threatened it, but she didn’t do it. Instead, she told me to enjoy my final year in school, because I wouldn’t return the following year. This terrified me. If I were taken out of this school—my only connection with the real world—I would never know happiness again. I was desperate. I was overcome with a sadness and fear that didn’t even lift when I was in school. Usually, my personality shifted between home and school, between black and white; now I was just grey all the time.
My drama teacher, Mr. Fabbro, asked me if I was okay. His question reached me like a beacon of light in a deep, dark well. I was more than happy to tell him everything. I didn’t hold back. I met with him and showed him the welts and bruises on my arms. In an Orwellian twist, a few days later, the asshole my mother had married stormed into my principal’s office, angry that Mr. Fabbro had seen my arm. The audacity of him. How dare this male teacher see the welts and bruises that he had inflicted on this child! The greater problem here, he surmised, was that a man I was not married to saw my arm, not that he himself had beaten me.
As a teacher in a public school, it was Mr. Fabbro’s legal duty to notify the authorities when a minor was in physical danger. Both police and social workers questioned me, and I told them all how my “uncle” would beat us mercilessly. I told them how he would walk in the door and—without provocation—grab me to release all his pent-up tensions of the day. He would pull off his belt and cover my body in welts. Even though I didn’t feel them as they were being created, the bruises and scars remained as evidence of the beatings.
Mr. Fabbro warned me that if I went along with this, there was a possibility that I might end up in a foster home, that I might never see my family again. He asked if I was prepared for that. I was giddy with excitement. I was as light as air with the possibility that I would never have to see those people again. I was just hoping that sounding this alarm would prevent me from being taken out of school! Am I okay with being taken out of that home? I thought. Are you kidding me? Nothing could possibly be more okay! He also warned me that I had to stay strong, that I had to be willing to stand up in court and say everything to the judge that I had said to him. I always remembered my promise to him that I would stay strong. I envisioned myself courageously pointing him out in the courtroom as if I were in an episode of Matlock. I was prepared.
– “Unveiled: How Western Liberals Empower Radical Islam,” Yasmine Mohammed

The men in this video are doing exactly what Islam says to do.

If these women had “pranked’ their mothers, there would be no difference in the outcome.

The Internet is full of YouTube videos of children being viciously attacked in madrasas. Girls getting grabbed by the hair and being pulled to the ground for not wearing hijab (head covers), boys being whipped and kicked as they fall to the ground. The abuse I endured, as barbaric as it was, is light in comparison to stories I’ve heard. A girl in Somalia told me of how her mother poured hot oil down her brother’s throat (as he was tied to a bed), and the siblings were forced to watch.
According to recent reports, in the Muslim-majority countries in the Middle East and North Africa, more than 70 percent of children aged two to fourteen years are disciplined in a violent manner. In some countries—like Yemen, Tunisia, Palestine, Egypt—over 90 percent of children report being violently abused. What is the reason for this? Why do those countries have such incidences of violence against children? The common thread is that they all follow the same religion. A religion that instructs them to beat their children. According to Hadith, the record of sayings and actions by Muhammad, he said, “Teach your children to pray when they are seven years old, and smack them if they do not do so when they are ten.” (classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami, 5868) He also said, “Hang your whip where members of your household (your children, wife, and slaves) can see it, for that will discipline them.” (said by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami, 4022)”

Shove your shitty, fucking, sexist bullshit attitude. This fucked up aesthetic you cloak yourself in and wear plastered all over your face when you don’t fucking know, and you’ll never fucking know.

You are the kind of person named in the subtitle of Yasmine’s book. You are a contributor to empowering radical Islam, because you’re so caught up in your bullshit aesthetic that you refuse to recognize and name the real problem. Because to do so, you might have to actually admit that you’re not really quite so much the victim you’re constantly cosplaying as.

You are the kind of person who distracts from the cause of the problems in Islam. You are the kind of narcissist who shoves their way into the spotlight to absorb the attention paid to someone else’s problem, because you can never not be in the spotlight. You can never say “wow, I have it better.” You can never ask “how can I help?”

Because you’re a sociopathic narcissist who doesn’t give a shit about anyone else.

Nobody can talk about Islam and what it does, what its doctrines say, how it operates, what it does, how it hurts people including both men and women, because you’re so busy doing the mental gymnastics to contrive it into your favorite hobbyhorse. And so Islam goes un-critiqued, once again gets immunity. And people like Yasmine who are trying to raise awareness, trying to make a difference to practicing Muslims and ex-Muslims alike, are drowned out by your pathological need to deflect and distract from the actual point so that you can demonstrate to the world what a damaged, sexist bushpig you are.

Get some fucking help.

And say the word.

Islam.

hi!!

notably most of your posts seem to come from the viewpoint of someone more opposed to religion itself than the oppression religions supposedly cause. so you’ll forgive me if i take absolutely nothing said into meaning. i personally do not believe in any god, as you seem to. so shut the fuck up before you tell me i’m defending a god or a religion. i’m defending people.

one of your constant points seems to touch upon the refusal to deal with the point of a problem.

You are the kind of narcissist who shoves their way into the spotlight to absorb the attention paid to someone else’s problem, because you can never not be in the spotlight. You can never say “wow, I have it better.” You can never ask “how can I help?”

what exactly are you doing to help? how are you any better? you’re making this more about sex than your supposed issue with islam.

while there have been several records of the issues named in the posts (forced marriage, abuse in households, abusive parents, passive parents) there have also been hundreds of records of muslims (of all genders) who are content and proud in their religion. you have pulled sources from the same one woman and her bias. while what yasmine mohammed suffers is more common than it should be, there are multiple muslim activists that not only acknowledge the same suffering, but work for change where it can be wrought peacefully.

Nobody can talk about Islam and what it does, what its doctrines say, how it operates, what it does, how it hurts people including both men and women, because you’re so busy doing the mental gymnastics to contrive it into your favorite hobbyhorse.

humiliatingly, you’re wrong again.

tawakkol karman has been known to give speeches urging against abuse in youths, and has long continued nonviolent work to secure safety in women in yemen. she won the nobel peace prize in 2011.

dr. shirin ebadi was one of the first female judges in iran. she fought fiercely and tirelessly to a position from which she could defend the rights of women and children.

countless others on various common social media platforms have spoken out about their use of the hijab, their experience with islam, and what that personally means to them. if you were any less of an ignorant asshole, you would acknowledge the issue of the hijab being a tool of oppression is a highly westernized concept.

shahd batal (a model, not an activist, just someone genuinely talking about their experience) spoke out to say, “people always want me to overcompensate or speak on behalf of all muslims when, in reality, it’s not my job to make them accept me, nor do i really care.”

are there those who suffer unfairly (as yasmine mohammed did) in abusive and harmful households? yes. does the world need to pay more attention and care to these incidents? also yes.

but islam is not an inherently harmful religion.

most of the verses from the quran are about peace, including but not limited to verses 5:16, 4:128, 2:205. another belief is that forgiveness is earned through small kindnesses, and harm brought to anyone is a sin to be judged.

it is also stated there is no compulsion in religion.

the harm in reinforcing religion to the point of abuse is an issue many muslims are attempting to combat from places of power. no law or verse states religion is a compulsion to be obeyed; the actions are the harmful work of the parents, the family. in other words, oppression is not rooted in religion but a systematic cycle.

it all comes down to a choice.

whether you want to practice the religion. whether you want to step away.

both are valid. you can fuck off with your pronouncements of banishing religion as a solution to your hurt pride; that won’t do shit. people are going to find something else to make a problem of, people are going to find another excuse to hit their children, or oppress their family members.

the best thing we can do for anyone harmed by religion is work to combat the injustice in it, as hundreds have been trying to do their whole lives. people like you should be asking “how can we help you?” instead you’re promoting your own petulant agenda over that of those poised to help people who need it.

the problem has never been a religion. anyone can find a guise to operate beneath, a verse to support their violence. the problem is people like you who insist on bigotry.

And people like Yasmine who are trying to raise awareness, trying to make a difference to practicing Muslims and ex-Muslims alike, are drowned out by your pathological need to deflect and distract from the actual point so that you can demonstrate to the world what a damaged, sexist bushpig you are.

one final time, this is terribly humiliating for you.

people like tawakkol karman, malala yousafzai, a hundred activists regardless of gender, are trying to raise awareness too.

they’re trying to speak out and be heard.

you’ve made this about the innocence of the male sex, you’ve seemed to take pride in how men are as terrible as the women, and you’ve tried to blame a religion.

every single activist out there wants the same thing: an end to violence.

so shut the fuck up about how hateful a religion you know so little about is. stop thinking yourself worldly and intelligent and revolutionist.

the problem is people like you. the problem is people who think it’s okay to hit and harm their families. the problem is hatred and bigotry and intent in violence.

the problem hasn’t ever been islam.

There’s so much here to debunk. So much ignorance, so many empty slogans, so many outright lies. This should be fun.

so you’ll forgive me if i take absolutely nothing said into meaning.

Translation: “I will construct a strawman and attack that.”

i personally do not believe in any god, as you seem to.

LOL. The wheels fell off your go-cart right there at the starting line.

what exactly are you doing to help? how are you any better?

I’m talking about the actual problem. You’re making excuses for it. I’m raising awareness. You’re trying to do that whole “pay no attention to what’s behind the curtain” thing that Dorothy found suspicious.

Do you know why I do what I do? Why I say what I say? Because when I started saying it, I started getting women messaging me, both ex-Muslim and Muslim Reformists thanking me, telling me that what I’m saying is accurate. That they’d want to say it, but they can’t.

I don’t give a shit how much you call me an Islamophobe or anything vacuous and empty like that. I don’t care. I do this for them. Because I can weather the scolding of a harridan and laugh it off.

Because they can’t.

you’re making this more about sex than your supposed issue with islam.

I’m explicitly not “making it about sex.” That’s the entire point of what I said in my post: stop blaming men, and start blaming the doctrine and rules of Islam.

You clearly didn’t even read what I wrote.

while what yasmine mohammed suffers is more common than it should be, there are multiple muslim activists that not only acknowledge the same suffering, but work for change where it can be wrought peacefully.

And that is done by talking about it, and pointing out where the problem lies: Islam. Not by making shitty excuses.

You’re dishonestly holding up Muslim people to defend Islam the belief system, religion and ideology. You’re dishonestly saying, “well, these Muslims over here are okay, so Islam is fine.”

This is a classic bait and switch. I don’t give a shit how many good, happy Muslims you trot out, what I care about is Islam itself. What it says to do. The fact the good, happy ones exist is in spite of the ideology of Islam, not because of it. Because they have secular values, because they’ve chosen to ignore verse after verse of hate and violence in the Islamic doctrine. As they should. Good for them. But that doesn’t mean it’s not there.

And it’s this failure, ignorance and dishonesty on your part which makes the whole thing worse. It means you’re deflecting legitimate criticism of Islam and making it so nobody can say anything because “these Muslims over here.”

It’s dishonest.

if you were any less of an ignorant asshole, you would acknowledge the issue of the hijab being a tool of oppression is a highly westernized concept.

This statement is truly psychopathic. If it’s oppressive to western women, why wouldn’t it be oppressive to non-western women?

You act like Muslims, and Muslim women in particular, are some alien species, who don’t have the same feelings, the same desires, the same ambitions, the same hopes you do. You’re so content to look after your own interests, but when it comes to Muslim women, it’s “they like that. They like to dress in body bags and spend their lives looking like a Dementor.”

No other statement you’ve uttered is so “othering” as this. This is truly repulsive.

I can barely believe you’re trying to pull this shit.

And that’s just Iran.

Thanks for showing who you really are, throwing women under the bus in order to protect the delusion that hijab is not an oppressive, obligatory religious imposition. Good to know you care about religiously prescribed clothing more than people.

Here is what Islam says about hijab:

All cited from the quran and hadith. And there are dozens of tafsir - expert, scholarly analysis - about the obligation to hijab. Here’s a taste:

Abdullah narrated that The Prophet said:
“The woman is Awrah, so when she goes out, the Shaitan seeks to tempt her.”

Awrah is intimate parts, like genitals or even the thigh. In the case of the above hadith, the entire woman, in public, in front of non-family, is regarded as awrah.

Which is why it’s extremely disturbing when you realize that pre-pubescent children must hijab because they are seen to be sexualized.

“A girl she should start hijab [wearing of headscarf] from the age of seven. By the age of ten it becomes an obligation on us to force her to wear hijab. And if she doesn’t wear hijab we hit her.”
– Dr. Muhammad al-Jibaly, Former President of the Qur'an and Sunnah Society of North America

Saudi Arabia:

Turns out schools in 24 provinces in Indonesia rule their female students including non Muslim ones to wear hijab, 62 regulations of compulsory hijab. Non Muslim students who reject wearing hijab would be bullied,
[Video]
This yezidi sex slave was freed from the violence of ISIS in #Baghouz Syria. She burned the Hijab after her libration in Isis captivity . #YezidiGenocide #FreeFromHijab
[Video]

And this is just in the last couple of days. Did you really think we’re that stupid?

oppression is not rooted in religion but a systematic cycle.

Yes, the reproductive cycle. Muslim couples produce children who are indoctrinated into Islam, and girls who are put into hijab, never being given a choice.

it all comes down to a choice.

Correct, and few girls in devout religious households get to have. Because Islam dictates that Allah requires it, and Muhammad revealed it, and thus to disobey is blasphemous.

That “choice” - or lack of - is the problem.

“My daughters were put in hijab at age 8. At eight years old, they were put in hijab.
They love islam. They love Allah. They want to please him. They want to please their dad.
They have been told since almost infancy, since birth, that it’s not a choice, you have to do it, and you have to do it so that god will love you, that your parents will love you, and that your entire community will love you.
Nobody will love you, including god, or respect you if you don’t.
They were put into it at eight years old. At sixteen, they will swear to you that it’s their choice.
What choice did they ever actually have? They have been told, from birth, that it was the only acceptable choice, the only respectable choice, and that there would be consequences if they do not make that choice.
So, I mean, they love it, but what else do they know?”
–- Stephanie Terrier, Ex-Muslim Mother.

Threat of attack with acid in the name of “loose hijab” seems pretty oppressive.

Cites multiple incidents over the last few years of women being attacked with acid, justified Islamically due to “bad hijab” as a morality issue. Here’s a taste.

Published: Oct 4, 2020:
The two Friday Prayer Imams’ calls to “make the surroundings unsafe” for women who do not observe the hijab have triggered adverse reactions on Iranian social media.
Isfahan’s Friday Prayer Imam, Yousef Tabatabei-Nejad, who has a long history of calling for a crackdown on women presumed to be “bad-hijab,” once again urged Iran’s security and intelligence agents to make the “surroundings unsafe” for citizens with “loose hijab.”
Tabatabaei-Nejad, a black-turbaned cleric officially recognized as Ayatollah, is the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s representative in Isfahan, central Iran. He is also a member of the influential Assembly of Experts.
At a meeting with the intelligence and military officials on Friday, October 2, the 76-year-old Ayatollah regretfully said that some women deliberately “remove their hijab,” and the law enforcement forces should have “more authority” to deal with them.
Tabatabai-Nejad also demanded the establishment of “special branches” in courts to exclusively investigate “moral abnormality cases.”
[..]
Echoing his colleague in Isfahan, Abolqassem Yaqoubi (Abolghasem Yaghoubi), the representative of Khamenei in the city of Bojnourd, also said in his last Friday prayer sermons, “Bad hijab is a dangerous virus, and the NAJA (Persian acronym for the Police Force) should make the life of bad hijab unsafe.”
it is also stated there is no compulsion in religion.

It’s always fascinating to watch someone rattle off bland talking points and slogans with literally no knowledge of what they speak. You don’t have the foggiest idea whether that’s correct (it’s not), you’re just parroting what the DEI trainer told you, aren’t you?

“No compulsion in religion” is a popular canard among moderate Muslims and Islamist apologists. This is the ayah they quote:

There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.

I debunk this here:

I cite the quran, hadith and the most reputable Islamic scholars, who confirm this is false. In short, the verse has been abrogated (superseded) and in any event, it applied to “no compulsion” to raise a child Jewish. It has nothing to do with not being obligated to accept Islam, nor anything to do with leaving Islam.

The people regurgitating this also never acknowledge that we can simply accept this “no compulsion” verse at face value, and still not change position. Because Islam makes it clear that even though you can’t convert anyone forcibly, you can still kill them. You can offer them Islam, and if they don’t convert, that is their choice, and you’re not just justified in killing them, you’re commanded to by Allah.

Then, when the sacred months are drawn away, slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them, and confine them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent, and perform the prayer, and pay the alms, then let them go their way; God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate

The problem is that the “no compulsion in religion” thing is a lie told by the dishonest or parroted by the ignorant.

That would be you.

no law or verse states religion is a compulsion to be obeyed;

Sure it does, as I just demonstrated. Go read it.

Let’s go further.

They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.
Narrated `Ikrima:
Some Zanadiqa (atheists) were brought to `Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn `Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"
Narrated AbuBakr:
AbuBarzah said: I was with AbuBakr. He became angry at a man and uttered hot words. I said: Do you permit me, Caliph of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), that I cut off his neck? These words of mine removed his anger; he stood and went in. He then sent for me and said: What did you say just now? I said: (I had said:) Permit me that I cut off his neck. He said: Would you do it if I ordered you? I said: Yes. He said: No, I swear by Allah, this is not allowed for any man after Muhammad (ﷺ). Abu Dawud said: This is Yazid's version. Ahmad bin Hanbal said: That is, Abu Bakr has no powers to slay a man except for three reasons which the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had mentioned: disbelief after belief, fornication after marriage, or killing a man without (murdering) any man by him. The Prophet (ﷺ) had powers to kill.

It’s amazing that people are still trying to pull this crap.

Is it that you’re a liar, or stupid?

and harm brought to anyone is a sin to be judged.

Harm brought to a Muslim. Non-Muslims are not granted this consideration.

Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,

In this sense, “wage war” is anyone who resists submission to Allah and Islam. Anyone who says “no, thank you” to becoming a Muslim is by definition “waging war.” Can I prove that? Easy.

Allah said next,
(The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land.) `Wage war' mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways. Mischief in the land refers to various types of evil.
Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.

“Pagans” in this sense, is anyone not a Person of the Book.

So, nope again. You’re not doing too well at this. You’re just echoing Islamist talking points, sweetie. And lying to the world.

you’ve made this about the innocence of the male sex, you’ve seemed to take pride in how men are as terrible as the women, and you’ve tried to blame a religion.

The hijab is a religious garment. With this in mind, this entire little sentence is bizarre. It can only be religious.

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands' fathers, or their sons or their husbands' sons, or their brothers or their brothers' sons or sisters' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women's nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed.

Men are obligated to enforce it, by decree of Allah.

Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.

This is a decree from Allah. It’s not a decree from Head Office of Men. The hijab and the enforcement, and it is an enforced obligation, is explicitly religious. It’s not “cultural” - since Egyptians, Iranians and Indonesians didn’t hijab prior to being colonized by Islam - and it’s not men just being men.

Hijab is Allah’s word.

O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
Narrated Aisha:
Sauda (the wife of the Prophet) went out to answer the call of nature after it was made obligatory (for all the Muslims ladies) to observe the veil. She was a fat huge lady, and everybody who knew her before could recognize her. So `Umar bin Al-Khattab saw her and said, "O Sauda! By Allah, you cannot hide yourself from us, so think of a way by which you should not be recognized on going out. Sauda returned while Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was in my house taking his supper and a bone covered with meat was in his hand. She entered and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I went out to answer the call of nature and `Umar said to me so-and-so." Then Allah inspired him (the Prophet) and when the state of inspiration was over and the bone was still in his hand as he had not put in down, he said (to Sauda), "You (women) have been allowed to go out for your needs."

So, thus far you’ve really just been talking around in circles, with literally no idea what you’re on about. Or even what I’m on about.

but islam is not an inherently harmful religion.

Sure it is.

Fighting is an obligation upon Muslims. See here:

Again, all cited from the quran, hadith and the tafsirs. And includes a video of a well-known Islamic scholar telling Muslims that they will enslave non-Muslims, as is their call from Allah.

Islam is inherently anti-Semitic.

The entire Islamic mythology rests on the caims that Allah previously revealed the quran to the Israelites, but they corrupted it. When in reality, we know that it’s the other way around - Muhammad took the Jewish traditions, corrupted them (poorly, and in a way that demonstrates how fabricated they are) and turned it into Islam. Here’s a sample:

And for the evildoing of those of Jewry, We have forbidden them certain good things that were permitted to them, and for their barring from God’s way many,
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

And again, yes, there are Muslims who don’t want to do this. But it’s not because it’s not Islamic. Because it is. It’s because they have secular morals, and don’t pay as much attention to the religion.

And then we get to the pedophilia. The Islamic prophet married a 6 year old girl, “consummated” it at 9, and this is used to justify not banning child marriage. Rather than embed another long post, go review it here:

Again, all cited from the quran, hadith and even cites a Yemeni sheik on why they cannot and will not ban child marriage. Here’s a taste:

Narrated ‘Urwa:
The Prophet (ﷺ) wrote the (marriage contract) with `Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported:
Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old.

And yet again, people who don’t want to do this are good people. But they’re good in spite of Islam, not because of it.

you can fuck off with your pronouncements of banishing religion as a solution to your hurt pride

Not my hurt pride. Human cost. Women imprisoned for removing hijab, which you don’t give a shit about. Men forcibly transitioned into women because they’re gay and it’s more acceptable to be a trans straight woman than a gay man, which you don’t give a shit about.

Gay people being thrown off roofs, which you don’t give a shit about.

Because your priority is protecting Islam.

It’s cute you think this is about “hurt pride” and not about the worldwide damage religions, and particularly Islam, have done throughout history and continue to do today.

But, you know, your cute squeaking about not making any feelings ouchies sure seems important too. /s

the problem is people like you. the problem is people who think it’s okay to hit and harm their families. the problem is hatred and bigotry and intent in violence.

You don’t seem to be able to tell the difference between people and beliefs. You should fix that, because that’s your mistake. I’m criticizing the belief, and I have every right - and, as I see it, obligation - to do so.

It’s pathological for you to misrepresent criticism of the latter for hatred of the former. You are a dishonest person.

the problem hasn’t ever been islam.

Sure it has. ISIS and the Taliban even say they are continuing Muhamamd’s work. And I just quoted page after page of Islamic doctrine that shows that your claim is explicitly false.

“The Sharia does not allow politics or political parties. That is why we give no salaries to officials or soldiers, just food, clothes, shoes and weapons. We want to live a life like the Prophet lived 1,400 years ago and jihad is our right. We want to recreate the time of the Prophet and we are only carrying out what the Afghan people have wanted for the past 14 years,’ he added. Another Taliban leader put it even more succinctly. ‘We can love our enemies but only after we have defeated them.”
-- Ahmed Rashid, “Taliban: The Power of  Militant Islam in Afghanistan and Beyond”

Even the people in the video will cite surah and ayah of why they should be doing what they’re doing. They know it’s Allah’s commandment. And yet, somehow you’re still trying to gaslight us that the common thread in Islamically-motivated and justified violence is not Islam.

That’s just bizarre. You think we can’t figure out what the common thread between Jihadists, Islamists, fundamentalists and the lunatics who cut off people’s heads for drawing Muhammad is? They know what it is. They even tell us what it is. Do... do you not know what it is, or are you just pretending?

And again, because you’re not getting it, people are not beliefs. The people who don’t do what the quran and the hadith say are the good Muslims. They’re the ones who don’t take it seriously.

Sweetie, it’s okay, you shot off your mouth before you had any idea what you were talking about. Your username sure is apt, isn’t it?

You’re caught in the thrall of Islamophobia-phobia. The mortal dread that people might call you an Islamophobe for not being a ra-ra-ra, blind cheerleader of Islam and an enabler and apologist for radical Islam. Without knowing anything about it.

It’s so weird to see western feminists acting as apologists for Islam, and making excuses for actual rape culture. Let’s go back and re-read surah 33.59 for a moment:

O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

What this is literally saying is that women should veil themselves to avoid being abused (in this sense, it means rape). Unveiled women are fair game. So, if you’re raped, it’s your fault.

Intersectionality sure is a fun-house mirror. Feminists excusing rape culture and ignoring the plight of women as a virtue.

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?" The women said, "Yes." He said, "This is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind."
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
Once Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) of `Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."

It’s okay. There’s time to do better. You can do and be better than this collection of empty platitudes you currently are that actively works to harm both women and men, because you’re more interested in protecting an idea (Islam) from scrutiny than having the courage to withstand the empty accusation of “Islamophobia” and say where Islamic violence comes from: Islam.

You can actually help people by having the courage to learn and describe Islam accurately, so that other people can know what the problem is: the problem with Islam is Islam.

so shut the fuck up about how hateful a religion you know so little about is. stop thinking yourself worldly and intelligent and revolutionist.

Islam itself says that everything you said is overtly false. You couldn’t cite anything substantive to back up any of your claims. And we both know why, but they’re different reasons: you don’t know what you’re blathering about, and I know you can’t, since it doesn’t exist and says the opposite of what you think.

I do want to thank you, though. Literally nothing you said is backed up by the quran, hadith or tafsirs. And you probably don’t know what some of those are, and even more likely don’t know the difference.

You shot off your ignorant mouth so thoroughly, attracted attention to my blog, and given me the best opportunity and audience to demonstrate how immoral Islam is, and how dishonest people like you are, and how readily you are to throw people under the bus in order to protect primitive, barbaric ideas.

And all I need to do is quote Islam.

UN Watch is calling on U.S. Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield and EU states to condemn the UN’s election of Iran to a 4-year term on its Commission on the Status of Women, the “principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women.”
The vote by the UN’s Economic and Social Council, reported first by UN Watch, sparked outrage among human rights activists.
Electing the Islamic Republic of Iran to protect women’s rights is like making an arsonist into the town fire chief,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch, the Geneva-based human rights group.

What is even the point of the UN any more?

Well, now I'm disappointed. I thought the time this person spent rambling out an incoherent tirade in a drug-fuelled haze was time spent that was special to the two of us.

Turns out he just gives it away to everyone.

Notice how it's somehow "arrogant" to reject an imposed expectation to unquestioning entertain this insane ranting - to the extent of trying to act like it's some kind of moral failing that parents would find objectionable - and even more arrogant to instead offer reasons why it makes no sense and isn't worthwhile.

But it's somehow not "arrogant" to vomit it up in people's faces, get angry when they find it wanting, and claim to know as "fact" something that nobody else in the entire world, that even our best scientists over the last decades and centuries, couldn't figure out or find. Even trying to pretend it's a matter of social obligation to do so.

And casually slip in some throwaway line about "Mother Nature" to feign depth, when what he’s saying categorically contravenes every single thing about nature. Every plant and animal on Earth will die, even the Earth and Sun will ultimately be destroyed, but some idiot on the internet will be exempt from all this and "simply move on."

"What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence."
-- Hitchens' Razor

To ramble this nonsense out, steadfastly reject the expectation he should substantiate any of it, much less address all the obvious ways in which it violates everything we do know, calling the blog “outerfringescience” is a bizarre move. Literally no science functions this way, demanding so much of others and nothing of itself. Indeed, even the sciences looking into weird things about our world would acknowledge they have an even greater obligation on them to make sense and justify their conclusions. The obligation is in proportion to fringiness, not inversely proportional. Not comprehending this isn’t a good start, that positioning yourself outside normal or traditional science makes the burden greater, not lesser. But then saying insane shit and then getting mad when called on it suggests the blog should be renamed “I-have-no-fucking-clue-how-science-works”.

Having looked at his blog, there’s a lot of words and literally no science. Just rambling in the quantum woo style, and of course, links to give him money.

This person doesn't care about truth. Given his copy/paste promiscuity, it just seems like he’s after regular garden variety attention, with no concern what form it comes in.

He’ll get no more from me.

It isn’t just that he created evil and concocted the situation that unleashed the sin of “knowledge” on the world. It isn’t just that he apparently had no choice but to kill everything on Earth - including all plants, all children, all babies, all puppies, all kittens. It isn’t just even that with all power available to him, he couldn’t think of a better solution.

It’s all of this. And that he went out of his way to make sure their deaths were torturous and miserable and protracted, that they saw it coming as everything around them was slowly destroyed, and everyone around them thrashed and struggled, eventually exhausting and choking and spluttering to their dark watery demise. And never knew why.

So, the “perverts” your silly “militia” are bothered by are itself. The person you truly hate is the one you see in the mirror.

Okay. I’m cool with that. Normal people will be over here waiting until you’re done sorting that out. Ta!

(You’re not very good at this trolling stuff, are you, kid? At least stop skipping your Remedial English class, maybe?)

Viruses don’t give a shit about your hubris. Learn from the stupidity of others.

Rose’s family said he tested positive for COVID-19 on July 1 and died just three days later. Rose’s family said he had no known pre-existing health conditions.
“It’s horrible that we lost Rick but the even more tragic part of that is who else became infected because of the actions that he chose,” Conley said.
Conley hopes his friend’s death will serve as a warning to others.
“I know a lot of people that haven’t met someone that they know of that has been diagnosed with the virus and I wanted people to see it was real and my hope is that people will see that this does happen and people will be more cautious,” he said.

When you’re happy for your own friends, family and perfect strangers get sick or even die for your personal convenience.

Reality is under no obligation to be convenient and comforting to you.

Unsurprisingly, not just risking but actually seeking disconfirmation in order to test its conclusions is the approach taken by science. Religions think they avoid this risk by being unfalsifiable - and they would be wrong.

Would be great if this axiom was applied to climate “science” instead of assuming it is an axiom.

Go on, tell us all about your qualifications in climatology and biogeochemistry, and the peer reviewed papers, studies and experiments you’ve conducted to refute a scientific consensus.

When you’re dangerously unqualified to speak on a topic, it’s time to defer to the experts, instead of continuing to rent the penthouse at the top of Mount Stupid.

Climate science has been studying this for over 100 years.

We’ve been talking about it for over 30 years. You may have previously known it during the 80s as the “greenhouse effect.” Remember that?

If 100 years of climate scientists have it wrong, then that’s great. So, demonstrate how and why. Change the world by showing the mistakes in 100 years of climatology studies. Produce your credentials, including your published works, and then get back to us with the draft for your Nobel Prize acceptance speech. Science loves learning new stuff. The entire scientific endeavour is based on the idea that we learn more by making and identifying and eliminating errors. So, go ahead. Teach the world’s top climatology experts where they went wrong. Whenever you’re ready. Nobody will stop you.

Fraud.
