Tribeless. Problematic. Triggering. Faith is a cognitive sickness.

“When we crucify criminals the most frequented roads are chosen, where the greatest number of people can look and be seized by this fear. For every punishment has less to do with the offence than with the example.”
– Quintilian, Declamations, 274.13, English translation in Quintilian: The Lesser Declamations, 2 vols; ed. and trans. D. R. Shackleton Bailey; Loeb Classical Library (Cambridge, Mass.: Harvard University Press, 2006), 1:259.

The core belief of Xianity is well known to be a myth.

When they can't even get the mundane parts right, we don't need to spend time worrying about the magic parts.

“The bible as we have it contains elements that are scientifically incorrect or even morally repugnant.
No amount of explaining away can convince us that such passages are the product of divine wisdom.”

No risk, no loss, no sacrifice.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

That was the end of the Gospel of Mark, written no less than three decades later by an anonymous author who wasn’t there. Everything else from Mark 16:9 onwards is a much later forgery. Mark was then inconsistently plagiarized, repeating the same forgery. While making it worse.

Not only do we have no good reason to think any of this actually happened, but we have very good reason to conclude that the crucifixion and resurrection are full-blown myths.

"Can any rational person believe that the Bible is anything but a human document? We know pretty well where the various books came from, and about when they were written. We know that they were written by human beings who had no knowledge of life, and were influenced by the barbarous morality of primitive times, and were grossly ignorant of most things that men know today."
-- Clarence Darrow

There’s no such thing as the Word of God. There’s only the Word of Man that it’s the Word of God.
