science began in the church, esp medicine which is by far the most important and impactful scientific field, please shut your ugly mouth
Science did not “begin in the church”. There were Ancient Egyptian scientists, Ancient Greek scientists - including Hippocrates, the Greek physician after whom the Hippocratic Oath is named - Ancient Roman scientists, Sumerian mathematicians, all long before there was ever a Christian Church - or Christianity itself, for that matter.

On the other hand, the Inquisitions and burning of heretics are distinctly of religion.
Please stop being ignorant. Trying to pretend science was your best buddy the whole time, you even grew up together in the same neighborhood and you’re the one who encouraged science to go into it for a living... it’s like watching someone proudly boast that they went to school with a Hemsworth. It doesn’t make you relevant, and it doesn’t erase the fact humanity is trapped arguing about whether or not teaching that Sky Santa magicking up Dirt Man and Rib Woman has the same legitimacy as well-established scientific principles such as evolution, quantum theory and atomic theory.
