the arsenal/man city rivalry is very interesting to me because it's clear (especially in this season) that the players 100% despise each other and the clubs they represent BUT then you have arteta who is clearly holding back because he's known pep since he was a teenager at la masia and is clearly still attached to him (see tortured love confession after the four years comment). like i think it would be so much easier for arteta if he didn't have that history with pep but he does and i think he's genuinely torn by these two realities. i have no idea how it's going to end but i'm eating it up.
