I still can’t make my mind up about it if I’m honest. Like, when it’s not bogging itself down in graphic violence or montages that seem to exist purely to have a cool song (or another cover version of Red Right Hand - way to ruin that song for me with overkill) played over them it’s interesting. I get that it’s all about gangsters and stuff, but sometimes I feel like they overplay their violence cards if that makes sense? I can handle it if it’s telling me something about a character and where they’re at in their personal development but I’m kind of over the whole “dudes beating the shit out of each other while a cool song plays” vibe.

#¯\_(ツ)_/¯#i dunno it just rubs me the wrong way#i want to like it more because it's got everything that i like about a show#like don't get me wrong in terms of pointless violence it's streets ahead of something like lawless#but yeah the hypermasculine posturing kinda kills it for me I hear and agree with all of these things...and yet it totally works for me as inexplicably as it doesn't for you LOL I get pissed at the show at least as often as I holler at the show. It's the cinematography and the acting that make it work for me i think :)
