btw this was tim flirting hard and then being bummed about kon still being in his I’m Definitely So Straight Haha phase (aka the same phase he’d been in since the day he was born)
Okay but imagine Kon not being as invincible as Clark due to the human portion of his DNA (as in, he can get hurt without kryptonite but it requires a whole lot of force), and therefore having a higher tolerance than Superman to pain.
Clark grunting from pain + Kon being confused because??? It was 1 punch??? Dude??? Are you okay???

It was friday night and Superboy, Conner Kent, was stuck in Smallville. Having a real name, a place to crash and people who gave a crap about him was pretty great but the restrictions sometimes felt like a noose around his neck. He’d had next to free reign in Cadmus as their golden project and even in Hawaii he could go flying off to the beaches or jungles at a moment’s notice. But Ma, Superman’s mom not his, insisted that a good night’s sleep and some peace would help with his restlessness. He groaned and lifted himself off the bed and floated lazily above it.
He was half flipping through a comic book Bart had borrowed him, only half paying attention because he was so bored he could hardly think straight. Plus it was almost offensive now that he was sort of a superhero himself now? It was weird and required too much introspection so he just didn’t think and glossed over the brightly colored pages. Kon was tapping his left finger absentmindedly against his stomach. A soft, steady beat in the back of his head that he also didn’t like thinking too hard about. Didn’t stop him from drawing comfort from it though.

Are you really best friends if you don't carry your homie into the sunset after causing an explosion of massive proportions in your area? Maybe share a lil victory kiss while you're at it?
After the whole Kon and Bart coming back from the dead thing, the Core Four glue themselves to each other. Bruce says "No methas in Gotham" and they move to the Titans Tower in protest, no contact. Batman has to fcking gravel to get Tim back. Dick throws a temper tantrum when Bruce eventually lets Kon, Bart and Cassie crash in Gotham because he never let Wally sleep over when Dick was younger.
It takes Bruce an entire week to realize they are not leaving. They are his children now by association. Clark wants to have words with him.

Kon, making a case for why Bernard and him should both date Tim: Listen, I love Tim, and you love Tim, and Tim loves both of us, so I think he would benefit from both of us loving him.
