I think it would be very funny if the Batfam and Tim had two drastically different reactions to the Teen Titans Incident.

Like Bruce is super concerned about Tim's safety, and Dick is tearing himself apart because on one hand, the perpetrator is his little brother and Dick remembers him as tiny little Jason who loves classic stories and on the other hand, his new little brother has just been brutalized and possibly traumatized. Jason pretends that he is okay with having beaten up a child, but he is drowning in guilt and can barely look Tim in the eye.

Meanwhile, Tim just... does not care. It was literally another Wednesday for him. He is so delusional, he looks at the Red Hood and thinks "Yeah, I can take him." There is no fear in those eyes, just revenge.

i imagine damian and jason having a 'friendly' rivalry and doing things just to compete with eachother (its how they bond) and they realize the only thing they have even ground on is affection from tim - he seems at an okay level of affection with the both of them but when they look at his relationships with dick, bruce and literally everyone else they're so far behind.

so of course they make it a competition. tim knows something's up but dick keeps saying its fine because they're being kind to him (that's the problem dick)

Fic where half of the POV is Jason and Damian fighting for Tim's affection and the other half is Tim - who has already made peace with both his brothers' previous murder attempts - panicking, with a full detective board pinned to the wall and 233 theories. Dick and Alfred think that it's good for their relationship, but Tim is so shaken by it that eventually Bruce is the one who has to ask Damian and Jason to stop (with moral support from Cass, bless her heart; he tried talking to Tim before, but that did not turn out okay).

Imagine Damian constantly boasting that he is going to be taller than Tim, and one day coming out of his room to find out that he hit a growth spurt and he is, in fact, taller than Tim, but instead of being happy about it, he is just kinda sad. Damian pretends he isn't, but he keeps giving Tim tips on how to appear taller until Tim tells him that it doesn't matter that Damian is taller than him now, he'll always be his little brother.

And yeah, sorry about the word vomit.

Imagine if timey wimey shenanigans happened and Bruce got de-aged to before he lost Jason. He takes one look at his giant of a second child and goes "my🥰son🥰".

Damian is flabbergasted and also very jealous. Not only has he never met a version of his father that is so openly affectionate, but also, he can't believe Bruce is giving Jason so much attention. Damian is FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE.

Dick and Tim take one look at Bruce and go on vacation to TT. That is a Bruce that a) has been fighting with Dick and b) does not know Tim. They do not have the emotional range to deal with him.

Jason is both soaking up the attention and running away from it. He has no idea how his brothers convinced him to stay at the Manor with Bruce, but now he can't leave. The one good thing about the whole situation is that he can brag to Damian that Bruce loves him more.

(Jason has been trying to contact Dick and Tim for a week. None of them have picked up their phones. They are playing air hockey in the Tower. Jason hates them.

Dick asks Tim whether they should return home. Tim gives him a look and Dick's all "You are right.")
