My apologies for happening upon your lovely inquiry so late, but I’d be happy to provide some HC’s!

Oftentimes I like to imagine that they hold slumber parties where they listen to indie/horror podcasts and stay up too late until eventually they can’t sleep because either they’re terrified or too emotionally invested in whatever the heck happened this time.

I also have an east coast suburban AU which is sort of like gravity falls but different! Because it is on the other side of the country, for one, and for two it’s during the autumn school year. It starts with Eridan and Aradia opening a ghost busting business that operates from the apartment above her family laundromat, and eventually they recruit the other members of the quizzical quartet to join them in their supernatural misadventures! ( june occasionally drops in on the action too! ) So far all the ficlets I’ve written have just been to work out the general ambiance, but I’m going to write a proper first installment soon! 0u0

In the AU and just in my head in general they play in a band called two guys and another guy. Aradia is on bass, Sollux is on keyboard, ErIdan plays a guitar that he borrowed from his brother after he gave up trying to learn it since it failed to “reel in the babes”, and Feferi plays drums! :U

1. What made you ship it?

It all began when Aradia and Eridan finished cementing themselves as my favorite characters and I thought gee, wouldn’t it be neat if they were friends? At some point I remembered that Sollux and Feferi were characters I also liked who had been romantically involved with at least one of the previous two at another point and things only escalated from there! ouo

2. What are some of your favorite things about the ship?

I’m especially into symbolism, meta, lore and the various etceteras trailing from each, so I’ve already written a few short paragraphs of speculation on my favorite aspects of their chemistry! Here they are below, screenshotted from various sources as well as a section on just arafef! :
