So, I'm coming out of my shock about go s2 and want to make a more detailed post about it, but there have been a lot of people who have said what I feel about it better than I think I could. Including some links and thoughts underneath. Putting these links under a cut for your perusal and if you'd like to pass this by, go for it.

Confession:
I made a post on this very hell site, maybe a year ago or so, where I admitted my suspicion that the locked tomb is some kind of scifi horror goncharov given that every post about it seemed utterly buckwild but also totally disconnected from every other post about it id seen except for being the same genre of unsettling
Someone responded to that post with something along the lines of 'sorry, it's all real, even God's cow wall'
This response haunts me
I don't know what God's cow wall is. I have no context for God's cow wall. I've seen no other post about God's cow wall until this post today
I lose sleep contemplating the implications of God's cow wall
The only thing keeping me going is that this lack of context means I can convince myself that this is a wall *for* cows and not a wall *of* cows
I don't dare to actually read tlt and risk having my protection of ignorance ripped away from me
People keep telling me Cow Facts now and it's gone from interesting to alarming real fast
Why does everyone suddenly want to share that cows watch sunsets?!? What does it mean?!?
Our laat year Plant Physiology class lasted literally three hours, I sat next to the only girl I remembered from the year before and took notes. I looked over at her notebook and saw an ecxellent drawing of Gideon and Harrow kissing.
"Oh, are those the Locked Tomb lesbians?" I asked, spotting a possible shared interest.
Her eyes lit up like stars. "You read the Locked Tomb? What book did you get to?"
And I, sweating like a pig and feeling like I just failed a very important test, confessed that I honestly thought The Locked Tomb was some kind of Creepypasta and had no idea there were books that aren't fanfiction about it.
Somehow we're still friends.
So I think I'm back for real this time, and it's because we somehow live in a world where there's a SHIPWRECK CANNIBALISM MUSICAL ON BROADWAY?!?! Which I had the deep delight of seeing recently.

I think I’m still, somehow, after so many years on earth? Just so terribly naive about what people want.
I know what I want, and I think it seems very reasonable and achievable? I want is a safe future for my kids (stable climate, reproductive rights, health care, access to education, safety from violence)
I want to walk my dog and tend to my garden and do my crafts and write my silly little stories. I want friends and book clubs and bicycle paths and movies and a just this small life of connection and joy
And I want this for everyone else too like I want the weird old guy who lives on my street and who apparently hates me to also have access to healthcare when he needs it. I want the immigrant families at my kids’ school to have access to that school and for it to be good!I want libraries and pride parades and community gardens
… and instead what other people really seem to want is to punish other people. They want violence and the bootheel and to rid life of variance and colour. They want repression and domination
Is it because eggs cost more or they saw a trans person once? Is it because there are black people on tv now? I don’t know. I don’t know anything
I want schools and healthcare clinics and busses and parks. I want everyone in the world to go to sleep at night without worrying their children will die in the dark from falling bombs
And more and more I realise that its a fantasy that very few other people actually share

Hiya! :) yeah, when they posted the original post, I dont think many fans realized that the studio did design the actual park sign in 2019 :D (ineffable coincidences, right?:)). But I agree, the sign itself and them teasing the fans like this is a very good sign ;)
