For nearly six years I’ve dealt with hate for being a Dearie. I’ve had to deal with my inbox being flooded with hate. I’ve browsed the Rumple tag only to come across how EVOL Rumple is. How much of a coward he is. Even my own boyfriend didn’t understand my love for Rumple. He fell for the same stuff: Rumple is the Dark One so he’s inherently bad. That is not what Desperate Souls showed the audience. At all. Defending your family is not evil. It’s self defense. Plain and simple. The hints were there all along: - I never saw Emma do anything Savior like. The curse breaking in S1 could have been done by anyone who was awake and had a TL. - Rumple made a lot of sacrifices. From taking on the Dark One curse to rolling in front of a car to sacrificing his life to facing a MOTHERFUCKING bear. All for his loved ones. - Excalibur chose him as the hero. - When Emma found out Rumple was supposed to be the savior she tried to bail. Eh, yeah…who’s the coward here? There were little hints throughout Once that SHOWED who the real hero was going to be. Dearies have said it all long: he’s not evil. He’s shades of gray. Not evil. It just would have been better if the writers knew wtf they were doing in S4. All of you POS who terrorized me in my inbox and in the tags: I TOLD YOU SO. for years I fucking told you so. How does it feel knowing you were wrong about him being the big bad? Lol, go fuck yourselves and don’t let the door hit ya on the way out.

This is directed at Kitsowitz not the OP but please forgive me anyway. This writing is not about a meaningful parallel. It’s lazy ass recycling and Rumplestiltskin deserved a hell of a lot better than finally getting everyone’s gratitude for repeating the same sacrifice he made three years ago. Rumplestiltskin has frequently saved the day and it’s sickening that it’s only now that he gets any credit. I’m happy Rumbelle got a HEA, but I’m so angry that the story leading up to it was so poorly conceived and sloppily executed.

Thank you @anonymousnerdgirl I hated the dinner scene because  its beyond Hypocritical, there were moments before when he should have been part of all of this but they always rejected him, no matter what he did, and at the end all the bridges were burned, even his frienemy relationship with Regina become truly like enemies, and suddenly everything is OK and all are a big freaking family? Please, how stupid they think the audience is? maybe children may think this is ok, and that it is how things work but at least for me this was disgusting, I would have believe it more if they had some kind of attitude like, lets made a truce and try for a new beginning, but they behave with him as if this camaraderie was true, as if they truly saw him as family, not even Henry can say that they are family after all the times he has tried to only use the fact that he is his grandchild to his advantage.

Belle French always deserved better, but hearing that she is confirmed leaving makes me happy. Nobody will have to suffer watching her abuse-apology storyline anymore.

Kitsis interview about Rumbelle in the OUAT S6 finale just pisses me the fuck off! He’s still mocking us with that “difficult man to love” bullshit, who needs to make a “difficult choice between power and love” crap, even though it has been over two fucking seasons of Rumple and Belle getting the same fucking storyline over and over again.

Rumple has literally never chosen power over Belle with the exception of S4 (sort of…I’m putting the fact that he “chose power over Belle in S4” really loosely because it’s not like he technically chose power over Belle, he just did shady shit with magic behind her back that he knew she wouldn’t like) when he was doing shady shit behind her back, after he got abused, traumatized, lost his son, and they decided to pretend like all that shit never happened by framing him as a one-note villain, instead. And he almost did in 6A when he couldn’t get her emotional support, no matter what he did to try and be better, or get it, and she was pregnant with his kid, so he went off the deep end because the writers kept writing her as an OOC, illogical, and mentally/emotionally abusive bitch, who refused to hear him out for nearly two seasons straight for the sake of creating nonsensical plot-driven soap opera drama to make him the “villain.” No, that’s not me excusing Rumple’s awful behavior with Belle in 6A, either. He was being a total OOC controlling, threatening, idiotic, possessive, and manipulative asshole to Belle throughout most of 6A, and I wanted to smack him throughout most of the arc, despite the fact that Rumple has always been my favorite character on the show. I’m just saying that it wasn’t for total lack of trying to be a better person on his part because he really did try throughout all of S5 to make up for his fall out with Belle in 4A. This time, he felt like he couldn’t just leave her alone, like he usually does when she doesn’t want to have anything to do with him because she was knocked up with his kid, and Belle’s own totally OOC bitchy, illogical, controlling, demanding, wishy washy, and emotionally manipulative attitude, her constant rejection, and constant refusal to let Rumple get a word in edgewise every fucking time he did try to reach out to her of nearly two seasons straight finally triggered him to go off the deep end and stop trying to fight the darkness in 6A.

So, unless they break the curse with Belle giving him a TLK, and give him a happy ending with no character assassinating ‘twists’ to make Hook look more “heroic” at the last second for suddenly choosing not to murder a litter of kittens at the last second because Emma is his “twoo wuv” or whatever bullshit, then Kitsowitz can fuck off, and they deserve all the hate from the Rumbelle fandom for bringing back Rumple back in 3B and destroying his and Belle’s beautiful complex characters/relationship for no good fucking reason!

And that’s the reason in the end I won’t miss Rumbelle in s7. Thè show dire forte me early in s6, and I now so hope it’s a sequel, and he’s somehow mercifully free of A&E improved Belle. Same for Gideon. I guess I should thank A&E though, because they made me hate one of my three favorite characters so much, and ruined the show so much, I simply rejoice she’s not in it anymore and the show as we know it comes to an end.

I was angry before, knowing she won't be in s7 makes me happy, the happiest.

So Rumple said he was just doing what he had to to keep his family together.
