Dan Stevens, I am not a fan of yours, but I definetely support you.
Ok I really don't get it now. JF wrote 3 series of Downton, all the actors signed for those three series. Then he decides he actually wants more and plans other seasons. Ok, he can do that. But Downton Abbey isn't the best option is one of the options. So actors might not want to do more than three seasons, which is what the signed for. So two main actors want out for season4 and JF go writing tones of bullshit for their characters in season3. He sets their replacement (Tom for Matthew, Edith for Sybil) and he writes their deaths in an almost identical way, which let's admit it, is really bad writing. Jessica wanted out because she got many wonderful options. Ok, you can get angry at Fellowes because he definetely didn't have to kill her just to get rid of her character, but she wanted out because she didn't care about the show anymore. People could get angry at her, but they don't, they're angry at JF for writing such a bad ending. Dan wanted out because he didn't like the way the show was led from the end of season2. He believes the show is not so good anymore and he doesn't want to work for a project he doesn't like. WHY ON EARTH ARE PEOPLE ANGRY AT DAN AND NOT AT JF FOR THIS? You people realize that if JF sticked to 3 seasons like he planned to, none of this would have happened and everyone would have had their happy ending right?
There's one word for JF and it's greed. Season1 was a Masterpiece, season2 was a really good show but season3? It's all greed and ill-writing.
