Is anyone else really curious what’s going on up here in the Frozen Wastes? Unless I’m mistaken, they’ve literally never been mentioned, but Amaroth is where one of the three Wyrdstone towers is. We’ve been to almost every other place on the map, or at least heard of it/know things about it. But nothing about this place. I’m curious if this unexplored (at least for us) territory is going to be important later on.

There is a volcano up there on that map…. maybe that’s where the volcano holding the last wyrd key is? I’m sure there is a part about Brannon giving himself to the volcano after placing the key in it or something like that, my memory is not so good. 

oh and just to add another possibility… could the “Ruins or Morla” be a dialect difference for the ruins of Mala?… that would be cool because then maybe they will go there next (after saving Aelin of course).

One of the first comments I made here on tumblr - on a fan theory post. haha! I should have known my obsession would only get worse… 

 @spare-ink there is a little volcano in that map of the mountains ;)  that might warm up the chilly temperatures…  if it happens to erupt. 

Aelin surely wouldn’t run out of power is she could draw it from a volcano?

Might need Rowan there to cool her down though so she doesn’t burn out.

@spare-ink , With all these theories, I feel like a dungeons and dragon player...

Dungeon Master: "Your queen" is locked up in an iron box and can't get out.

Fandom: sure she can, she knows wyrd marks - rolls die.

Dungeon Master: hmmm it seems she can get out.

Dungeon Master: I've trapped "your queen" by placing her mate in a volcano, she cannot destroy "that bitch Maeve" without fear of killing her mate.

Fandom: Nah she can use the volcano

Dungeon Master: no, that's not possible

Fandom: rolls die.

Dungeon Master: you always ruin my fun. Ok, ok, the volcanos power is used to destroy "that bitch Maeve" but not your mate and your mate provides your queen with an attack bonus. *shakes head*

Fandom: ok now we want everyone to have a happy ending....

Dungeon Master: you have to roll amazing rolls for every. Single. Character. I am not letting you win this without causalities.

Fandom: keeps rolling the best damn rolls in the history of the game.

Fandom: k, we done now. Thanks for being our dungeon Master!

Dungeon Master: yeah whatever, I swear you're cheating... you have to have loaded dice or something?

Fandom: sorry what did you say? I can't hear you over my characters all getting happy endings.
