hahaha, I feel like I dreamed this ask. TW: Leather boots.... it got a lil nsfw...... near the end. WHOOPS. its innuendo tho.. mostly... and a kiss.... so like not tooo bad

SHOE SHOPPING HEAD CANONS
- Nesta is meeting Cassian there because he has things to do and Nesta tries on a lot of shoes.
- To be fair Cassian’s “things to do” are actually just him shopping down the street looking at shoes for himself. - He likes to have a selection of sneakers and work out boots and varying degrees and grades of leather for special occasions. - His Illyrian boots all look the same from the outside but he knows that the ones with a slight bit of silver trim near the top are lined with kid leather and super soft.- He wears these when he wants to look intimidating but knows he has to stand for a long time in a stuffy office with Rhys or other High Lords.- Once his selection of boots and trainers is purchased he gets them sent directly to his house so no-one ever knows the extent of his collection.
- Nesta has already spent 3 hours trying on shoes. - The “work shoes” are the ones she needs for everyday tasks, she has a selection of coloured slippers and 3 pairs of silver ones. - She was very clear on what she wanted and it still took the shop assistant 3 tries to find the exact ones that were in the window last week. - She is trying on a pair of Illyrian boots when Cassian walks in and he gives her a hard time about “training”. - She rolls her eyes.- Nesta says if she’s moving to the mountains she needs warm boots, ignoring the fact she just ordered 7 pairs of shoes that are not going to be great for the Illyrian mountains. - While Nesta is tying the laces, Cassian picks up her boot and twists and turns it getting a sharp look from Nesta.- He tells the store clerk that she needs sheep-skin lined ones and the softest leather as she isn’t used to wearing these sorts of boots with extra steel in them and perhaps another pair that will be more up to the snow. - Nesta Glares- Nesta tells him she is perfectly capable of choosing boots!- Cassian pulls an apple out of his bag and begins eating it in a very obnoxious way so the sound bounces around the small shop. - Shop Assistant rushes in with exactly what Cassian asked for and Nesta gives them a death stare because they were not this efficient before. - Trying them on they are perfect.- Cassian looks pleased with himself and turns to look around the shop. - Nesta quietly points to a pair of sexy high heeled boots that go right up the thigh. Not for practical reasons as much as to put Cassian and his smug face off balance. and asks to try them on.- Cassian continues to walk around the shop pretending not to notice but a grin graces the side of his face. - Nesta hitches up her dress and slides her legs into the soft brown leather boot.- Her Dress is pooled around her hips and she leans forward to tie the laces - starting at the bottom of the boot. - Or she thought she would be...- Cassian is in front of her on the floor looking up. - moving with pernatural grace- He grabs her boot in his hands and runs his hand over the thin leather - she can feel the warmth coming through. - His large hands pull the straps together and tighten the boot. he slowly works his way up her leg and she regrets choosing the ones that come all the way up mid thigh. - He looks up at her beneath his thick lashes as his hands graze her knee. - Nesta is staring at him with such intensity Cassian thinks she might kiss him. - the shop assistant mutters something about going out back - Nesta tilts her head like an animal- Cassian rises up and runs his hands up her thigh stopping at the end of the boot. - “Do you want something?” he asks, his mouth right next to hers- Nesta replies “do you?”- Cassian growls- Nesta leans forward and bites his lip before kissing him. - Cassians hands roam a bit further- Nesta pulls him to her and they let their lips smash into each others as he tries not to push her down onto the ottoman. - A crash is heard in the room out back and Cassian returns to a sitting position on the ground infront of her. - “should I get these?” she asks him, wiping her mouth with her fingertips- heat fills his gaze- “Only if I get to help you tie them up” he says, trying to dampen the lust in his body.- Nesta looks to the mirror and pulls down her dress, looking at the boots peaking out the bottom. - “No one would even know what was underneath” she said a little sad that the beautiful, sexy boots were hidden. - Cassian looked over her shoulder in the mirror, wrapping his arms around her waist in a hug she saw coming in the reflection. - She breathed him in.- “I’d know, and I’d think of helping you out of them and back into them at every opportunity.”- She ran her arm along his own and said quietly “maybe that’s reason enough.” - Cassian heard the shop assistant heading back to the main room, tripping over boxes as they went, and stepped back from her becoming that aloof Illyrian he was so good at portraying. - “So what do you think of those ones then?” the clerk asked asked- Nesta turns toward them and the coldness had returned, perfect mask to stop people interfering. - “Yes package these ones, as well as the two the commander picked out and the others I had put aside and I’ll send someone to pick them up later” she didn’t dare tell Cassian he would have to pick them up because no one was going to see those thigh high boots except him and her.
