The story revolves around Kevin Day’s relationship with Andrew Minyard, your unfriendly neighborhood bastard holding greater secrets than his own inheritance. Neil Josten, a newcomer to the school with a problematic past and even more concerning present, manages to snag both Kevin and Andrew’s attention. But as more truths are revealed, their thin trust in each other begins to crumble. And oh! Did I mention? Someone wants someone dead, and it’s not pretty. Warning: lots of cheesy literature references and some hazardous coffee runs. Also somebody dies. It’s fine.

they're together for while and that is all i will be saying because spoilers 😄 the thing is this fic is written in a very different way than any fic i've read before and their relationship and the development of it it's a very ongoing process throughout so you can look forward to that. it IS slow burn though so be warned!(it's not the same kind of slow burn angst as one would expect???? i LIKED it as you must know by now)

This Is The Way The World Ends by the blessing @ravens-play-exy-too (maisy-daisy on ao3) is genuinely the best piece of work I have read in a goddamn while and we have been quarantined for a year now (wow) The phenomenal writing, the magnificent flow and the amount of EMOTION this fic made me feel...unparalleled. I was so invested. I had to keep my phone down for 2 days because I didn't want it to end and then I was like fuck it and then I finished it and oh dear...oh god...I didn't know I needed a kandreil dark academia AU in my life until I got it, y'all I am so impressed by the talent and thought that went into this. Singlehandedly destroyed me.

I liked how the last chapter focused on everyone’s feelings it felt like a nice and slow chapter and a great note to end the story on

I’m just happy for all the characters I really am I liked how they all had a happy ending

I think I started reading this book in September or October or something and ever since I started reading it I’ve been in awe of how intriguing and interesting the plot is and how great your writing skills are wow I honestly can’t believe this story’s over but I just want to say that I loved it from beginning to end 💜

Spoilers here but you really scared me with that nicky thing in the beginning (thanks for not killing him) and wow the latest chapter was so good like it was intense with all the fighting and stuff but I liked how you put little jokes in (I seriously can’t believe that Kevin was sitting there thinking you’re dead bitch and like I’ll have to get a blood test after this lmao and oh also Neil fighting his old English tutor and ichirou bringing tea to that goddamn place) aaaand the family owning (owning? kinda? sorry I’m blanking out on the correct word) ocra was something I did not expect
