hello! I came here with ao3 after reading your fan fiction from the series "all I've got left is my pulse". these works are so aesthetic thanks to vampires and blood, and now I wonder how old Neil is and what Kevin and Andrew will do after his death.
in addition, another question is gnawing at me, are these works related? do they occur one after the other? it's just that in the first part the feeding of pranas from the Nile is mentioned, and in the second, on the contrary, this problem is solved. so this is the backstory?

hey there! thank you so much for this message and i’m sorry it took me so long to answer, i rarely check this blog anymore (i’ve moved to @chai-and-cherries) and plz don’t apologize, i so appreciate the ask!!
that being said, the series is written in a backwards chronological order. so part 1 takes place after part 2. part 2 takes place before part 1. i have a part 3 half written but never finished it. if i do decide to post it, part 3 takes place before part 2. so they’re in backwards order. so yes u are correct, part 2 is backstory, and the hypothetical part 3 i haven’t finished is even further backstory (ie how andrew and kevin found neil)
in terms of neil dying, kevin and andrew would…not be the same ever again to state the obvious. i hc them as becoming less patient with/less caring of humans, much more closed off, and andrew and kevin would definitely struggle in their own relationship together for awhile.
but if we’re being completely honest, my personal fic hc is that neil finds a way to get turned. in neil’s head, it’s a win win. his father can’t hurt him as a vampire, and he gets to stay with andrew and kevin as long as they’ll let him forever.
and as for translating, oh my god id be so honored! please do let me know if you ever do so! no worries if u decide not to translate after all, but if so I would love to check it out! thank u again for this message <33

Queer is a slur. Gay people were beaten to death while being called queers and fags. You don't get to reclaim a slur that doesn't apply to you, especially when you clearly don't know the history of the slur's usage against actual gay people
everytime someone tells me (a queer) that i cant say the word queer (my identity) because it’s a slur (used as a slur by cishet bigots, in exactly the same way the words gay and lesbian have been used as slurs by the same people) i get a little more queerer <3
