I am beyond proud of how far she's come this year. She became so much more nuanced, strong and beloved. Her story and motivations became so much richer and a lot of us could finally see a bit of ourselves in her because of that. What a woman, truly.

Recently watched a video about making of Megamind characters where it was expressed that Megamind is a character that tries to look scary. He doesn't have superpowers or physical strength, so his only way to intimidate is with his looks. Me and especially sixteen year old me felt this on a visceral level.
Of course I had to satisfy my inner little goth girl by drawing Miss Megamind in casual outfits after that 🩵

I should specify that these portraits are based on the paintings of Eugene de Blaas. When I was just coming back to drawing in the year 2022 I took great inspiration from them. And since, at the time, my anatomy was very weak I used them as a base for creating portraits of my ladies.

Me from 2011 never watched Megamind: The Buttom of Doom, because she was already skeptical about sequels. But me from 2024 really appreciated the opportunity to come back to my favourite childhood hero and see him in a good quality new light.
Got inspired to draw my fem Megamind in the costume from this short film. As expected, she rocks it 👊👊
