Luz and Stringbean!
I’m dying to cultivate a more shape-y style with thick lineart, so just messing around. I was also practicing poses/line-of-action. Found a pose that screamed Luz to me and went with it.

I rendered the boy! I’m very happy with this, this is my first time really doing this, I’ve always wanted to but could never figure it out/never put the time in to actually figure it out.

I drew the very fucked up boy from the fanfic, Dyscrasia! (M-rated for body horror) Very well written and interesting fic, I suggest it if you are good with such things!
I tried to stick with as many details as I could from the information given, though obviously this is still just my interpretation at the end of the day. I also used refs of Selkiedomus(the tail), and Stonesleeper for how the hooves should look.
Why is he in a pineapple shirt? Because in the last scene he was said to be in a backwards “aloha shirt”, so I googled such shirts and immediately decided the awful pineapple one that popped up was what he was getting.
I didn’t learn as much about coloring digitally as I’d hoped for this piece, but I’d still say this is a success.
A maned wolf would be perfect for Hunter though, because it’s neither a wolf nor a fox, just as Hunter is neither witch nor human. Also they tall as fuck.
Second take at a TOHsona, though this time I decided a demonsona worked better for my fursona.
I love this so much better than the first attempt!
Liked this doodle out of my previous batch(here), wanted to clean it up! One version is normal boy, the other is harpy!Hunter because the concept is cool and lives rent free in my head. (I don’t think it’s gonna happen but man are the fan designs so cool!)
In my mind, there’s some Huntlow happening here. Willow is fighting alone, Hunter notices, freaks out and goes all floofy harpy mode, flies over and then they are the badass battle couple helping each other out.
