Naruto team group chat headcannons! Part 1

Team 7: Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke

I love these guys but they’re little shits and awful little assholes. You know every time they hang out with others they’re all:

Sakura: Did you See what Kiba was wearing
Naruto: no frrrr
Sasuke: Why does he always look like he’s trying to get shino and hinata to match outfits but neither agree to do it so he tries to match both of them and it never works
Naruto: bruhhh

Plus gossip monger Sakura and Sasuke who pretends to be better than that but isn’t

Sasuke: Is it just me or was Neji like. Extra asshole today
Sakura: no bc Ino told me that Hinata saw him and Lee get into an argument like two hours before it started AND OMG guys do we think Tenten has a crush on him
Naruto: :( Why are he and Lee fighting
Sasuke: Tenten fs likes Neji I just can’t tell if he likes her back

A healthy dose of “if one of us doesn’t like you we all don’t like you”

Sakura: Also guys Ino and I are arguing rn so we don’t like team 10 ok?
Sasuke: Again? Fine.
Naruto: but Sakura-chan I’m supposed to get ramen with Choji tomorrow!!

Naruto: But also we have to avoid Team 8 for a bit because Kiba’s being a dick

Sakura: Wait no it’s a Friday so he’ll want to get here early so he can finish early and go drink with the other jounin. You have 15 minutes max
Sasuke: But yesterday was Kurenai’s birthday so he’ll be hungover this morning so he’ll actually be later than usual
Naruto: So i can take my time?
Sasuke: No usuratonkachi get your ass over here asap
Sakura: Yeah please I don’t want him to hand us over to Gai sensei as punishment again. My body still hurts from all that running

Naruto Rivalry  

  • Sakura’s rivalry with Ino wasn’t just about Sasuke. Sakura was jealous of Ino for her parents getting along, her ability to speak up, how she was expressing herself, and when Sasuke came to class he liked Ino more in her eyes.
  • Ino saw Sakura as a rival because she was smarter, get along with people better, was one of the first to learn cloning, and in her eyes Sasuke (while cute) wasn’t her first crush who preferred Sakura

  • Naruto was Sasuke’s rival: he made friends easily, He was loud but funny, and he need to direct his anger at something other then himself
  • Sasuke was Naruto rival: academically did better on every level, had tried for years for Sakura to notice him, but took Sasuke one day and needed to build his anger at someone

  • Hinata is Neji rival: the gifted kid that always had her dad’s attention, praised for learning main family technique better than her, and was just overall treated her like a nuisance 
  • Neji is Hinata rival: the reason his dad is dead, believes she got handed a victory over him because of house A v house B, believes her not being good at byakugan as a direct result of her not trying as she doesn’t have to while he has to be 12 times better

Naruto Rewrite:

  • Sasuke awakens his Sharingan as a child, Hiruzen can’t leave Sasuke with just anyone
  • Sasuke isn’t a heart throb he’s a loner, though Sakura and Ino can still have a crush on him
  • Sakura needs some love, her super strength is due to her clan having super strength and tsunade teaching her how to use it.
  • Hiruzen begins thinking and calls apon a veteran anbu member, Kakashi, to take on this team once they leave the academy
  • Sasuke constantly gets reminded to be better than his brother and live up to his father’s name, adding to his hatred for Itachi
  • Sasuke and Naruto don’t say their friends but constantly scrapping and fighting each other
  • Sakura sees her super strength as a weakness and tries to be lady like to balance herself out
  • Naruto after getting saves by Iruka starts taking jutsu seriously and notices when he uses shadow clone jutsu he can remember things his clone did
  • Kakashi trains to keep a seal on Naruto in case he goes crazy, brush up on his combat for Sakura, and keeps an eye on Sasuke in case he loses his mind
  • When they graduate Kakashi pretends he’s meeting them for the first time and not spying on them their whole lives
  • Naruto part 1 felt short and condensed so we need at least 3-6 arcs in between the chunin exams to really show off their skills
  • Part 1 really needed to show us Sasuke before the curse mark so we can be with Naruto in part 2 with let’s bring Sasuke home
  • Before the curse mark Sasuke was bubbly and hade a sense of humor. Show us them becoming friends over time.
  • Show us Sakura crazy strength and how she hides behind her hair and clothes
  • Sasuke ability to be scared and ask for help
  • Naruto being a leader and coming up with plans
  • Show us how team 7 begin to train and use physical strength to fight back together
  • Show us Sasuke and Sakura budding romance
  • Show us Naruto noticing Hinata, and in away losing feelings for Sakura romantically
  • Show us Sakura gaining a boyfriend with Sasuke despite her strength and a brother in Naruto
  • Sasuke inner thoughts about Sakura and how he calls Naruto his best friend or at least a friend
  • Team 7 making these core memories before the exam, so when we lose Sasuke it hurts all that much more
  • Kakashi being a father figure despite knowing the truth about them, and how he in turn comes to peace with the pass
  • So before the exams during the land of waves arc, when he sees a “died” Sasuke his nine tails mode looks will paid off
  • We find out Naruto is the nine tail fox demon, and during his fight with Haku the seal gets a tiny bit weak, allowing Naruto to use just some juice and he gains his iconic whiskers on his face
  • During the chunin exam’s show use how smart Naruto is without cheating, how Sasuke uses his environment to get answers, and how Sakura helps the two idiots without being caught using genjutsu or something

Rewriting Naruto part 1

  • We take out the whole alien god tree and reincarnation. Instead, the ten tails existed way back in prehistoric time and Obito (and by extension Madara) try to bring it back to destroy the world and peace among the people by any means necessary.
  • The Uzumaki massacre did happen but instead of killing off all uzumaki it shorten their numbers to like a few hundred, but they’re still around
  • Intern Kushina becomes Hokage like she dreamed and she took Minato’s last name Namikaze
  • Danzo set up a itachi before he tries his own coo against the leaf village to make himself look good in hopes of killing Hiruzen
  • Hiruzen sees through his old friend and call him a traitor
  • Danzo doesn’t get chance after chance he takes a few members of the anbu and makes his own organization (The Root) that plans on trying to take over the village
  • Intern orochimaru “works” with him giving us those child experiments 
  • The uchiha clan massacre didn’t happen. Itachi only killed the members in the coalition against the village and since his dad was one of them he had to kill him and his mom. Leave Sasuke to be cared for by his uncle and aunt.
  • Naruto doesn’t know he’s the Ninetails. When he was born and Obito attacked his dad used transporting Jitsu and left him in a safe place
  • the akatsuki believe the nine tails is dead and waiting for it to reform and the leaf village thinks the akatsuki has it
