Breach {Hannibal Lector x Reader x Will Graham Oneshot}

Requested by: Anonymous Wordcount: 2572 Summary: You’re in a poly relationship with both Hannibal and Will. A fundraiser that you have all been asked to attend is coming up. What happens while getting ready, and how would these men react to someone giving you a little more attention than they should?

Polyamory. It was something that was little understood, even if it was one of the most wonderful things in the world. Some people, like you, just had so much love to give, and found it hard to just be with one person since it could get overwhelming for them. There were many stupid questions asked. Do they get jealous? Of other people, sure, but not of each other. Are you really so greedy to have these two handsome men to yourself? Yes, yes you were. Are you just playing the field because you aren’t ready to commit? Uhh - you were pretty committed, thank you. If you didn’t love these men so much, and enjoy talking about them because they were on your mind all of the time, you would probably just stop bringing them up entirely. But alas. Someone mentions food, you thought of Hannibal. Someone mentions a crime, you think of Will. Someone talks about sex, oh, your mind was on both of them.

Imagine being Will Graham’s much taller significant other.

Will had always been a bit odd, even when the two of you were kids. He was heavy into mysteries, though unlike other boys who pretended to be Sherlock Holmes, or the Hardy Boys, he leaned more towards the psychology of it, and felt for the criminal, putting himself in their shoes. It did make a lot of people back away from him, and even bully him, but you stayed by his side, and he was the best friend that you ever had.
The only time that you two were separated was for university, but a couple of years later, you reconnected. You were surprised by how he had not changed at all, but stayed the same serious and somber boy that you had defended growing up. He was a bit surprised at how you had changed a lot - becoming taller than him by a couple of inches. The chemistry from childhood was still there and you quickly picked up where you had left off, the friendship turning into a relationship, then a marriage.
One night, he invited you to a dinner party with his new co-worker, Dr. Lector. You dressed up to the nines, hoping to make a good impression and to make your husband look good as well. Despite being taller than Will already, you strapped on your favorite heels which gave you confidence, and polished the engagement ring you wore with your wedding band to really make it sparkle.
It went well. You got along great with Jack, the other guest, and even managed to charm a few smiles out of Dr. Lector himself. But there was still something about him that caught your eye - and not in a good way. The looks that he gave to your husband when he thought no one was looking was deeply suspicious. You’d keep an eye on the Doctor, that’s for sure.

Imagine Will always coming to you after a case for comfort.

“He tried to psychoanalyze me,” Will said, sitting across from you at the restaurant, his half-full plate being abandoned. Once he got a little food into him, he really started to open up. This time, it was about the Doctor that he had worked with on the Garret Jacob Hobbs case. Dr Lector.
“Oh no,” You said, sipping your drink. Your voice was sarcastic, though you did worry about him a little. “Did you tell him that you don’t like that?”
“I told him he wouldn’t like me when I’m being psychoanalyzed.” A little smile came across your face as he said that, since you could picture it perfectly. Upon seeing you smile, Will returned it, before going back to his usual over-serious self. You’d known him since you both were kids, you knew how he was.
“And I’m guessing he told you that he couldn’t help it.” You sighed.
“Of course,” He muttered.
“You could probably do with a doctor as attentive as Lecter,” You said, putting your hand on top of his, laying them both out on the red tablecloth.
“You’re good enough for me.”

Imagine being the only person Will Graham can’t see darkness in.

When you stood up from the chair to wave Will over to your table, he couldn’t help the smile that came over his usually dour looking face. He had only talked to you before through phone calls, and this was the first time seeing you in person. He changed direction and headed to the table outside of the cafe that you had chosen to meet him at, blinking more rapidly due to the change in light.
Not sunlight. Inner light.
He saw so much darkness in the people that he worked with, even when he was teaching at the BAU, that seeing someone like you was extremely rare and near-blinding. He had to sit straight away or else he might even have been physically thrown back by his surprise.
“You alright, Will?” You asked, sitting back down yourself. You were smiling at him, which showed him your outer light as well. Not just your inner.
“Sun in my eyes.”

Imagine renting a cabin with Will Graham.

Spring had finally come. The snow had gone from fluffy and white to slushy and grey and finally disappeared, being replaced by the endless puddles of mud that squelched under your boots as you walked up a dirt driveway. The cabin was as rustic as you had pictured it to be, and the dogs were already loving it. They were sniffing the front porch, the chairs, and leaning against the screen door, trying to catch a sniff of what was indoors. “Do you like it, Will?” You asked your companion.
Will Graham was treading behind you, not as confident nor as excited as you were about this vacation. He caught your eye and nodded. That was his only response. You went up to the door, found the key in the mailslot and opened it up. The smell of nature had seeped inside as well, and everything smelt like fresh pine.
A couple of hours later, once your few belongings were unpacked, you had eaten your lunch and walked around outside with the dogs, you sat down on the loveseat and looked at Will who was already preparing for a nap. He was laid across the couch, eyes looking out the screen door to where the dogs were resting. “Rest up, nothing is going to get you in here.” You assured him.
“It’s what I might get that I’m worried about.” Will said back.

Imagine Will Graham meeting your dogs for the first time.

You had been working for Jack for only two years now, but you were up and coming in the department. You were smart, you were tough, you were able to handle anything that came your way with a strong stomach and an inquisitive mind. And thus, Jack thought you would be best meeting Will Graham in a comfortable setting, so you invited him over to your home. You were interested in his mind, and his way of thinking. And you had heard that he likes dogs.
The sound of a car made all of your dogs ears perk up, and they ran towards the door. You set the two cups of coffee down on the table then headed to the door yourself to look out and saw the young man approaching. Before you could stop it, your biggest dog managed to push himself hard enough against the door to get it to open, and bounded out, two of the others following behind him.
“Get back here!” You tried to call, feeling embarrassed that Will Graham’s first impression of you was that you were not able to keep control of your own pets. But to your surprise, Will didn’t just like dogs, he loved them. He got down on his knees and was petting each of them as if they were his own. And the dogs loved him in return.
Oh yes, this man was welcome in your home anytime.

Imagine being the only one to understand Will Graham’s love of dogs, and support him in it.

“I heard you got another dog, Will.” Jack Crawford said, trying to make conversation evidently. Will was just about to affirm this, when you, the person sitting by his side did it for him.
“I found the dog.” You said, in a curt and professional manner. Will looked over at you with a slight smile, it more so being in his eyes than on his face. He liked it when you spoke like that. And he liked it when you defended him, even if he thought that there was nothing that he had to defend. “And Will’s house seemed to be the best place for it.”
“Is there a problem with that, Jack?” Will asked, his head still turned towards you, rather than the man that he was talking to. “I would think you would be happy for me, having so many companions to keep me busy.”
