My TOS explicitly says no edit of my artworks in any way without permission. I like to be asked first - ''aesthetic'' edits are fine but if you're going to post your commission online with an ugly ass filter that messes up the contrast and saturation balance i hardly worked for... Pls don't.

Modification of the core of the art is ABSOLUTELY prohibited: Even if your character had design changes, or you want to add accessories, you are NOT allowed to add those to the artwork.

Filters COUNT as artwork alteration. I've had a commissioner post their commission with a filter that made it look like i had no idea what i was doing with my color theory. Please ask me first, it can be quite insulting.

Please know it's the same if you ever hire a photographer for a wedding or anything! They most likely wont say anything, but posting the photos they took with a random filter will definitely make them upset to some extent.

Artwork or photography, our art is already made to be looking as good as possible ( in the professional field ) and changes aren't needed. What is the point of my color palette style - here a muted palette - if you're going to change it? It ruins the intent and breaks the balance the artist aimed for.

Beginner artists might have more trouble finding a correct balance with their colors and contrast. Still, ask them first.

I would appreciate some reblogs to spread some awareness regarding this! of course this changes from artist to artist, but make sure to discuss it with the person you are commissioning.
