welcome to my zone.....

i am ana or ada or aki or styx. my pronouns are she/her & i hail from miami, fl!
  • this blog is largely my art stuff & things i find neat.... @torrentmoor is my only-art-account if you would like to filter out the latter!!
  • I do a little bit of everything, and I am still working out how to sort stuff (i have really only dabbled with tumblr briefly before), but generally you can find:
-#digital art (my biggest influences are probably moebius, mortis ghost and abbadon) -#sculpture (i love propmaking & dioramas!) -#photography (big fan of liminal spaces so much of the photos i post will be along that line. might make that a separate blog idk)
  • you will probably see a lot of corru.observer fanart on this page because i find i have been wholly obsessed with it recently.. also am a big fan of wildbow serials.

I don’t speak French but I speak Spanish and I’m nonbinary so the whole gendered language thing is… difficult. I couldn’t get this post out of my head and so I wrote a poem. It's a first draft but i just had to get it out there

It’s called “Masculino como el amor, femenino como la espada”

Si tienes que usar el masculino conmigo, usa el masculino cómo lo usas para el azúcar para el lobo el amor y el mar. Pero si tienes que usar el femenino, úsalo cómo lo usas para la tierra para la anaconda la guerra y la mar. Llámame masculino cómo el día cómo el melocotón el pecho y la cometa. O, llámame femenino cómo la noche cómo la piedra la leche y la mano. Masculino cómo el viento, femenino cómo la tormenta. El hueso, la sangre. El mito, la magia. El sol, la luna. Si tienes que usar el masculino conmigo, o si tienes que usar el femenino, llámame femenino con la boca y la lengua o llámame masculino con los dientes y los pulmones. O si puedes llámame por mi nombre. Llámame yo.

Translation: Masculine like love, feminine like the sword

interloper cosplay progress/materials pile!! using lenticular lenses to recreate the static effect in a low-tech manner... my buddy @heavenhearst will be moth >:) i will properly cut the glasses lenses later and probably experiment with poking some small holes in them for vision...

Progress? Progress!! SO MUCH left to be done, but now I have my minimum viable product. Cool! I would like to tighten the waist a bit, add points i can clip my props* to.. The ID will be clipped to a pocket in the long-term, too-- for this test I just grabbed my work ID and flipped it around, hehe. Super excited to design me some FBX graphics >:D *yes... props.... coming soon

I love in cow magazines when they talk about top prices and impressive genetics and whatnot and it’s all such cool dude powerful language but then the photo of the animal is just on no level matching the vibe of the spiel, like

He doesn’t know he’s worth $150,000 AUD. He doesn’t know he broke an Australian record. He’s just a guy.

Obsessed with the tags on this post especially the ones that didn’t know cow magazines existed. Cattle breed associations are some of the best organised breed clubs of any animal. They run so many ads in the paper. They have multiple magazines every year. They host official events. Their websites are fantastic. They have offical merch.
