#junefae day 5 - Inspired by those cute little white fluffy aphids <3 Watercolor, white acryla gouache, and colored pencil on kraft Stonehenge paper. The wings have a little purple iridescent paint that doesn’t show up in the scan. The painting measures about about 4.5"x5.25" - I was going to trim it down to fit a little frame I’ve had in storage, but I really like the current composition, so I’ll just mat it up to standard 8"x10".

There’s a shivering light on the street tonight, strange shadows on the lawn–a black horse running in the grass and vanishing at dawn.
