You’ve probably heard about how celeb would be really proud of hunter if he knew of how much he’s done, (and I’d think he most certainly would) and that he’s overjoyed by the fact that hunter finally gets to live the life with witch kind and demon kind that had been stripped away from him by belos, but I’d like to think that evalyn would be the second proudest, cause since hunter’s dna came from Caleb, and he and evalyn were probably engaged by the time Phillip showed up, evalyn would probably think of hunter as the son she never had. ( not to mention how she probably thought the same of the other grimwalkers that came before him, and was for sure absolutely heartbroken when they all died.)

We got fully fleshed out pictures of Caleb, but at what cost.

The fact you can TELL that he looks vastly different from hunter, how he looks more alive (which is kinda ironic considering the circumstances) he shines with a happiness that could only come from someone that has lived a (semi) good life.

And then you have hunter, who always looks tired and exhausted, who had only known for most of his life that his only purpose in life is to serve a higher power and try to be someone that could be looked up to and respected. But most of all, he secretly hoped that there could be somewhere out there for him, somewhere where he wouldn’t have to work every day of his life, not be terrified of disappointing the one person he looked up to. but just be somewhere where he could feel no fear.

Caleb had everything hunter wished he had, until it was all ripped away by one man that he had thought was his brother. And thus hunter was ‘born’ and wished for the same things Caleb used to have, somewhere where he could belong.
